Only reason I would say ramp would be called "tempo" is because you sacrificed one turn to play more costly minions later. Or does ramp druid just have its own deck archetype?
Thanks for the quick reply! I just get lost in all these definitions of decks in this game. I guess you can't define decks by the turn they attempt to win because of what deck it is facing in each match.
I love the idea of doing a Sealed draft! I would like to see arena tournaments with some sort of standard, or arena mode to battle. Or a draft battle mode in hearthstone. (To play against friends)
My version of implementing a mode like this would be for example
Each player has to draft from a pool of
15 commons/basics
8 rares
5 epics
2 Legendaries (These numbers are just off the top of my head, could be adjusted, or better yet have an option to select how the rarities are divided.) (I choose to have everyone get the same rarities in the draft so it is a little more "fair")
Off topic? The closest we have to "drafting" that my and my friends had shown me was rolling a D10 (Each class was a set number, with ten being your choice.) And click finish the deck for me option with no cards selected. A truly random 30 card deck. Some fun shenanigans are a part of this random deck style of playing hearthstone. Frankly I get bored with optimized decks in ranked/casual modes. With an inclusion of a arena friend battle option, we could have more greats ways to play! (And some funny/fun tournaments to watch on twitch.)
Ill guess hunter, with shaman running a close second.
Hunter because of Call of the wild, and Princess Huhuran. These cards are very strong in my opinion, can swing entire games to your favor with little to no presence.
Shaman because of Master of evolution, and Thing from below. These cards are powerful, and add tremendous pressure, but require little more planning ahead of time.
Edit: Those are just the main cards that stick out of my head whenever I think of the next expansion.
I would consider myself good, knowing most of the cards in the game, learning how most net decks work. Although I do suffer from alt tabbing, being considerably distracted with T.V. shows, streams, and youtube clips.
Ranks 20-15 it did fine, but fighting optimized decks it needs to be more consistent. not strong enough. if only eerie statue was 3 mana, its too awkward. I have considered using* a silence, but it most cases i wanted to gain value from wailing soul. Or rather the deck feels to awkward when you draw both wailing soul and silence. I guess depends* on your opponents board.

I just want to see how everyone views these terms.
I see it as :
Aggro attempts to win by turn 6
Mid range tries to win by turns 7-10
Control tries to win by turn 10+
and Combo which is trying to get a certain set of cards/costs in hand to win.

I thinking a strong mid rang shaman with a couple evolves. Post deck ideas fun combos anything around evolve will post my idea for a deck after work.

Typically due it's random nature, I choose to run one for control.

Great cards! I'm all for more cards that buff.

I really would enjoy this type of mechanic! As for balancing I don't know.

I have, the main problem is the 3 slot. haven't played the deck in a while its just not optimized enough vs standard ladder decks.
