    What an entitled manchild. What, having a better dust payout over time is not worth losing your rank? You do know there will be a rank floor set so that experienced players won't clog the bottom ranks, right? And the payouts are a lot more generous than they have been.

     That can't happen. Ysiel isn't a battlecry, it is a constant effect, meaning that if Thaurissan discounts it to zero it then goes up to (1) again, for the same reason that if you kill Ysiel the spells return to their "right" costs.

    Just letting you guys know right now, yup, this card is going to be strong in Wild.

    Rule number one of card games, if the card breaks the rules, the card always wins.

    According to what is mentioned in the Strategy section of Thaurissan, if Aviana is played while he is on the board, Thaurissan's end of turn trigger ability overrides Aviana's static ability, so since Ysiel functions similar to Aviana, that means that Thaurissan's end of turn trigger overrides Ysiel's.

    Translation: You see the two of these on the board at the same time, kill Ysiel immediately, because Malygos is not going to be far behind...

    For the people that are complaining about this card breaking Wild:

    More than likely it's going to be nerfed to resemble The Soularium (instead of drawing three cards, this will get you three random spells). That, or the Quest requirement of Open the Waygate gets bumped up like how The Caverns Below got hit at least twice (calling it now, methinks the requirement gets bumped up to 10 spells). Blizzard has been consistent with how they have nerfed problem cards in Wild (Star Aligner/Togwaggle Druid, Giantlock, Kingsbane Mill Druid, et cetera) and this card is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back. And I know that Open the Waygate is not a popular card in Wild right now.

     My advice: Hold on to Open the Waygate, and hope that you open this or get this in Gold, because one of these is going to be hit with the nerf stick.

    Calling it right now, this is one of the cards that is going to get nerfed first. Way too powerful off of a Turn 1 coin (basically a powercreeped version of Lost Tallstrider), not to mention it will be overpowered as fuck if it is combined with Hunting Mastiff via Deathstalker Rexxar (two 4 mana 7/5 minions with Rush and trading into a minion after it awakens sounds broken to me.) Calling it now, it either gets a mana nerf or it gets reduced from a 5/4 to either a 4/4 or a 4/3.

    EDIT: Son of a bitch, I thought it was a Beast at first, not a Demon. Even so, if we had Faceless Corrupter getting nerfed from a 5/4 to a 4/4 due to it's prevalence in Galakrond Shaman, it's not really out of line to say this card may still get the nerf stick. Getting a 5/4 as early as Turn 3 is going to get players pissed off at it.

    The Lurker Below doesn't have to target the Rogue's Prime itself. The Lurker Below cares about board positioning, so basically, if you make it go from either the far left or the far right, as long as a minion dies, the damage keeps hitting adjacent minions. And one of the weaknesses Rogue has is that this minions they have are going to be wiped out by just about every 3 damage board clear. Sure, you have cards like Underbelly Fence, EVIL Miscreant and Togwaggle that could survive The Lurker Below's effect, but one of Shaman's strengths is that they summon swarms of minions to negate that. If I am correct, The Lurker Below repeats the Battlecry every time it kills a minion.

    Owl's going to be teched in to deal with the non-prime version of the Primes - this thing only gets value if the Rogue deliberately kills it. Meaning it has to burn an Eviscerate or Backstab that could have been used to take out another minion, or deliberately sit on it and wait to trade into a stronger minion. You're trying to deliberately kill the non-Prime version of the card for potential value later, otherwise it's a fancier version of Spider Tank. The other Primes revealed so far are a lot stronger because A) they have IMMEDIATE value when they are played, B) the way they change the game immediately makes this Prime's Permanent Stealth look pathetic by comparison, and C) Permanent Stealth is pretty weak when you have board clears and certain strategies exist to get around the Permanent Stealth.

    Don't be fooled by the Permanent Stealth, this card is absolute weaksauce. Since people know that this card is going to crap a minion that is permanently Stealthed when it dies, Akarma is going to be prime Owl/Polymorph bait. Not to mention that board clears will have no issue dealing with this, Priest Galakrond can nuke it with it's Battlecry, and Rotnest Drake/Deadly Shot can easily take it out if it's the only minion on your board. The Lurker Below (which was revealed a short while ago) can take this out easily if you don't pay attention to board placement if it's boosted by Corrupt the Waters. 

    You have to jump through hoops to make this card work for you. I have not been this unimpressed since Uther of the Ebon Blade (without equal the worst Death Knight in the game), and this looks to be the weakest of the Primes.

    Let's review:

    Warrior's Prime comes back as a 10/10 with Rush that gives you 10 Armor when it kills a minion.

    Druid's Prime can either come back as a 9/9  with Rush, or it summons another 9/9 with Taunt.

    Shaman's Prime comes back as a 5/4 that draws 3 spells from your deck with a 3-mana discount on each of them.

    Mage's Prime comes back as a 7/7 that's essentially a mini-Yogg Saron with almost no drawback.

    What does Rogue's Prime get?

    Permanent Stealth?

    That's it?!?!

    posted a message on Is Coronavirus Holding Back Reveals?

    Nope, they said that the reveals would be starting at March 17th. With pretty much the entire world staying at home at this point in time, I sincerely doubt they are being delayed by the coronavirus.

    Not to mention that the game companies are making sure that there is some sort of enjoyment while we're stuck at home, because I want to at least find something to enjoy and not have to be stuck with nothing but news websites. There's more than likely a metric fuckton of disinfectant, soap and shit like that at their offices. Not to mention they can probably work from home if need be.
