Best Legendary for Paladin since Tarim. Now all the crybabies whining about Paladin not getting anything decent are required to shut the fuck up about it.

A very strong removal option in Odd Warrior in Wild, as well.

posted a message on New Hunter Legendary Card Revealed - Professor Slate

Explosive Trap, Arcane Shot, Corrosive Breath, Rapid Fire, Snipe and Kill Command all say hi. Multi-Shot becomes a Turn Seven "Automatically kill two of your opponent's minions" with Professor Slate on the board. Hunter does have a little support for Poisonous, and Explosive Trap or Snipe could be put in play before he is summoned. Also, Dragon Hunter does classify as more of a midrange/control deck, so I would not be surprised if it finds some use there.

Ranks up there with Deathstalker Rexxar as the strongest Legendary Hunter has ever had. Without question the best Legendary minion that Hunter has ever had.

Glax, bullshit. Murlocadin uses Murgur Murgurgle extensively, and Murlocadin is about as strong as Odd Paladin in Wild, if not stronger. If you were a true Paladin player, you would have not said something so false.

Well you do realize a 2/2 version of this keeps your opponents minion alive with 1 health right?

Of course I do realize that those minions will survive the 2/2 tokens. Then one of your beatsticks will finish it off. Or make it easier to take it out with a Truesilver Champion.

The card's purpose is to WEAKEN a minion, not destroy it.

This card will definitely see play. The card has an immediate effect on the game, it's a card that your opponent will immediately HAVE to answer to, and there's a ton of support for Paladin to use this card extensively. Making Mummies is still in Standard right now, and the prospect of having 2/2 tokens of this card to snipe even the biggest minions your opponent has make this particular card a pain in the ass. People that are insisting that this card is bad are overlooking the fact that it doesn't care if you damage a minion, it only cares if you attack it. Which means that Divine Shield isn't protecting your Colossus of the Moon from becoming bite size.

Maybe Garbage Legendaries *are* Paladin's identity?

Anyhow, Commander Rhyssa seems like they would have been very cool as an Epic.... that double secret effect is neat, but on only one minion it wouldn't be consistent enough to hang a deck on it.

Tirion, Sunkeeper Tarim, Kangor, Murgur Murgurgle, Wickerflame Burnbristle, Ragnaros, Lightlord and Eadric the Pure all would like a word with you...

Quite the opposite is true - Paladin is known for SOLID Legendary minions.

You do realize that Keeper of Uldaman was used primarily to WEAKEN an enemy's minion, not strengthen one of their own, right?

You are SUCH a dumbass. This is an upgraded version of Possessed Lackey. Hmm, a six mana 2/2 that pulls a Demon from your deck onto the battlefield when it dies couldn't possibly be used in Cubelock....

    Oh wait.

    It fucking was.

And it was in the same fucking set as Amethyst Spellstone, Dark Pact, Voidlord, Kobold Librarian, AND Skull of the Man'ari.

So what makes you think that something that puts a Demon from your hand AND your deck onto the battlefield won't be played in the same deck because it costs 3 more mana and has a 7/7 statline?

    Trick question.

    You fucking don't.

posted a message on Year of the Phoenix - New Game Mode Speculation!

I am surprised that no one has pointed out the obvious thing that hasn't been mentioned yet: A sort of block format  with a rotating pool of cards (perhaps each month).

We have already had two Tavern Brawls that hinted at something like this: One where it used cards exclusively from the Year of the Kraken, and one several weeks back that exclusively used cards from Descent of Dragons and Adventures (Naxxramus, Black Rock Mountain, League of Explorers, One Night in Karazhan, Descent of Dragons). A format where the card pool changes every month could spice things up for this game - you know, something that isn't like Arena where all of your card selections are made by RNG.
