A couple more arena runs to add to the list. First another 2-3 run where I received a whopping 1 x 5 gold, 2 x 5 and 1 x 15 arcane dust, and a booster pack. Next up, my first 9 win run, yay! For this feat I received 1 x 150 gold, 1 x 55 and 1 x 105 arcane dust, 1 golden Cold Blood, and the booster.
I earned 300g for winning 100 games in any mode today. I leveled up all my characters in practice mode, and the rest of my games were in play or arena.
Second round not as good, 2-3 with a terrible deck. 1 booster, 1 x 5 and 1 x 10 gold, 1 x 5 and 1 x 20 arcane dust. Also in the tally above it should be a total of 55 gold, 50 dust, and a booster pack for my 5 win round
Yeah, I expect right now that there aren't enough testers for the system to works as it's supposed to. Even just in regular play mode I was playing a few people more than once. I even played one guy 3 times in a row. Especially for the rarefied air of the upper brackets of the Arena, matching exact records wont be possible at this point.
I did a run last night with my first one's free drug deal, err, Arena entry. Went 5-3 and ended up with 1 booster pack, 1 x 50 arcane dust, 2 x 25 and 1 x 5 gold. Oddly it took a long time for the dust to show up in my collection. The booster was the third one I'd opened, and while the first two contained only the standard 4 commons and 1 rare, the pack I got from the arena contained 2 commons (Questing Adventurer and Wrath), 2 rares (Divine Favor and Nourish), and an epic (Sea Giant).
Ended the day with 340 gold so I'll be making another Arena run soon. It's either spend 100g on a booster or spend 50g more for a booster and an arena run.
Ben Brode has answered a few questions on the official forums, but I don't see those responses showing up in the blue tracker. For instance, he made one today in the Fireball vs. Pyroblast thread. I'm assuming his posts should be tracked as well?
Sorry Ferrarista, I wasn't answering your post. My reply was meant for Ezmod's post directly above yours where he seemed to willing to give a break even point around 5ish games but then lowering gold rewards above that and increasing the others to compensate. I was only bringing up an issue that could occur if something like that were implemented.
But then people will just retire when they get to the guaranteed replay win, unless the rewards were so significantly better at the higher levels. You'd then just be exchanging one problem for another though.
There is nothing to indicate when she only has one health remaining she wont still summon an imp and die. And if she dies then technically it opens up a space on the board, the one that she occupied. Depending on how summoning is handled, it is possible the imp will just take the place of the newly dead imp master even if the board was full when she started the process. There is some gray area with the way summoning is resolved and until clarifications are made we just don't know the answer.
The devs are trying to balance the inherent advantage of going first. Currently they are giving the player going second one extra card on the initial deal and "The Coin" card at the start of the second players first turn. So the player going first gets 3 cards and no coin, and the player going second gets 4 cards plus the coin.

Great. Also would it be possible for you guys to do a blue tweet roundup on the front page like they do on MMO-Champion?

Thank you.

It's good to see people are still dropping acid.
