I am prolly one of those people who you think does not play 'Mana Tide properly ( and I prolly don't ) I never get any value out of it as it only lives for one turn ( even tho I always play it behind my 'Ferals it still dies ) so I habe switched it for 'Harvest Golem to add a sticky three drop for 'Flametongue.
Would you recommend a different minion in place of "Harvest Golem?

I took out one "Mirror Image and put in a 'BGH so that I do not have to use a 'Fireball on removal cuz I often do not draw Antonidas in time to burn my opponent down.

You're all forgetting how Druid players can gain cards like nothing arn't you? Very often ( and I mean very often ) Druids have one or two innervates in their hand at the start of turn one, they coin out 4-5 mana minion and end up only one or two cards anyway by turn three. Do you guys really think Druids care that have no cards on turn 3-4? Of course no
Druids are one of the classes that have the best card draw mechanics hands down, this card is stupid OP and Druid players everywhere have a hard on right now.
What would you take out of Face Hunter to put this in?

Just like 'Quick Shot very rarely gets you an extra card draw, this card will rarely get you 2 extra damage because of the fact that Face //hunter is never really completely out of cards in hand. And if they are, then the game has gone far too long and the Hunter will lose the match anyway.

Before the announcement I was going to quit playing HS ( I am a player who pays money to play ) because I felt like Blizz was not listening to the mass amount of HS players ( both (P2P & F2P) that were calling for some type of incentive to rank up!
I personally do not care about incentives or rewards, but I do care that Blizz listens to their HS players wants and needs. Blizz has proven in the last few months that they do indeed listen to the mass and have done more than enough to satisfy my request for hearing the mass when they called for more rewards & incentives.
My hats off to Blizzard for giving us a free pack/week in Brawls and also handing out rewards at the end of the season for rank play! I for one will keep giving Blizzard my money now because they have proven that they listen to us HS players requests.
Sure, when you compare it to say BGH or poly it doesnt look impressive, but if the meta shifts to lategame cards (as in more big drops) this card is pretty good i guess. 2 sheeps, 1 bgh, 2 fireballs and one or two flame lances, that's alot of removal. And i guess at 10 mana, it is better then bgh because it has no restrictions. It kills annoying stuff that dodges BGH, and it can be used i combination with minions/spells to remove 4/12's somewhat effectively, like ysera. So can be ok on top of your standard removals, to ensure you will have enough to pull through.
I would much rather just dupilcate a couple of more 'BGH to be honest, instead of wasting a slot for this card.
duplicate is great, but like bgh it has restrictions. you'd have to make sure he plays into your bgh correctly. on top of that you are still restricted to 7+ attack minions. you can also play around duplicate or even remove/steal it, so your removal becomes very unreliable. there's also alot of threatening 5-6 attack minions and even more of those on their way with the expansion.
it's terrible right now tho.. it really requires a more control based (slower) meta.
I agree with everything you said. I just would have a real issue with spending 5 mana to clear a minion that is 1-6 AP when Mage has so many other removal tools for less mana. In another deck this card would actually be great! but in any Mage deck it just does not justify the high mana cost for wat it does.
I know not all the cards can/will be good, but I have saw more people like this card than dislike it and that is fine, I just feel there are so many better cards for Mage in the five mana slot and to top it off, Mage already has enough removal as is.

My first reaction is: objectively worse then Assassinate and Probably not played in constructed. Also worse then Big Game Hunter in most cases.
Either way, not all cards have to be OP!

Using 5 mana to clear a 6 attack ( or less ) minion is just not a very optimal thing to do, especially when the 'Mage class has so many better options such as: Flamecannon, Frostbolt, Fireballs etc etc.
But as Jappert84 stated, not every card needs to be viable.
