Well some aggressive Mage decks have been running ice block and other freeze type cards, so that may become the new flavor of tempo Mage. I look forward to how interactive Mage decks will be to face.
Call of the wild guarantees only 5 damage done. In the vast majority of cases that I have played it, it has been board cleared almost instantly (especially weak to flamestrike and circle of healing + auchenai, aka the 0 mana flamestrike that priests have).
I just fail to see the "broken" aspect of this card. Out of all the time's I have played it, it only sealed the game for me in a few (and I was vastly ahead on the board anyway). People just love hating hunters I guess.
I don't understand this argument at all. A good hunter player will bait out these aoe's with its sticky minions then use call to surge back onto the board right after their opponent has started to stabilize. If you just play this card on curve no matter what, then yes, there is a good chance you will overextend into one of the board clears you mentioned. The problem is that control decks simply don't have enough removal and aoe to deal with the incredibly threatening board call provides after barely being able to deal with hunter's powerful on curve minions.
My last game triggered me more than any game ive ever played before.
Im playing a simple dragon warrior on a f2p after hitting legend on my main, everything is good and well, i start a game and face a mage. I get the worst hand imaginable (Rag, Grom, 2 Executes) and stare angrily at the screen waiting for the mana wyrm turn 1. My opponent plays the wyrm and im left without a answer. The games plays out and thanks to some good topdecks i can come back. So, i have 3 minions, and my enemy has nothing left on the board, neither on the hand. He/She/It topdecks Yogg and i just feel sad because every Yogg before fucked me up badly. Yogg proceeds to clear my board, heal my enemy back to 9 hp, gets CoTW and 2 taunt wolves+ WoTOG buff and draws 2 cards+ CabTomeIm left speechless and angry until my enemy heropowers (innervate) herself in the face (accident, bm i dont know) while spamming sorry. So i notice the 8 hp and dont see me topdecking ragnaros.I press concede and nothing happens, try again and then I notice ragnaros. After reconnecting I play ragnaros and end my turn(it gets copied from mirror)
It hits face and im left staring at the screen and wondering what happened.
That game left me more upset than any loss before.
How exactly did you topdeck rag if he was in your starting hand?
I've just been running a noble sac, knife juggler, and a muster (which wins the early game against pretty much any deck) followed by win more cards like kings, uldaman, crusher, etc along with some heavy minions and nzoth if it somehow comes down to a value game. Currently 16-0.
Implosion anyone? Not that that card was well-designed, but it worked with spell damage, so this mechanic does already work in hearthstone. I agree it would be a great idea for blizz to make cards that utilized spell damage in more ways than one as it could make for some very interesting deck building. I always felt like implosion had a really cool interaction with spell damage, but the way the card was designed was just terrible. Hopefully blizz will release some fun to use, balanced cards that take advantage of this mechanic in the future.
I'm don't think a direct trading system would work as, like others have mentioned, it can be easily abused. However, I think a market system could work. For example, a player could place an epic on the market and ask for a specific epic in return. Or put a legendary up and ask for 2 specific epics in return. Then players could browse the market and find favorable exchanges for them. It would take much longer to find someone willing to take a deal than to simply disenchant, but it could save both players a lot of dust. Also, it would be much harder to abuse because if a player makes an insane offer like a legendary for a common to accept on another account, someone else will likely take it first.
Getting fatigued out as control warrior against midrange shaman.. literally can't compete when almost every card is a "must remove or lose." I only made it so far in the game because of my draw to fend off the aggression. I just want rank 5 man and I still need 4 more ranks by the end of the day. I've been trying so hard to not play aggro but today's the day I have to ask if I want that golden epic card or not.
Huh, interesting. I thought that if C'Thun isn't in the deck and his portrait doesn't pop up then Vek'lor wouldn't work. Weird interaction, I wonder if this could be useful in other classes.
I think N'Zoth is too good not to run in this deck. If you're already running syl, highmane, infested wolf, toad, and bat you're basically guaranteed huge value

Pretty sure this should be 2 gadgetzan auctioneers, not ferrymen. lol.

Barnes + this guy Kreygasm

Yeah, the deck isn't very strong. That's why it was the preferred deck of many pro players for finishing high legend last season, right?

Great deck, I'm at about a 70% WR. I like sylvanas over rag though since she's just insane in this meta and is a little easier on the curve.

Lol'ing at how people seem to think playing certain decks in a VIDEO GAME is immoral or something. Grow up.
