I think mechanic is shit. Every class will have its odd version and it's even version and everyone who plays it will be playing the same deck. So tired of these mechanics that build the deck for you. These cards can't exist in any deck other than the one they had in mind so it's just super boring to me.
People without enough gold to buy an arena ticket would get super triggered if this was their daily quest. I don't think it's fair to lock quests behind an admittedly minor pay wall.
I like to play games that swing back and forth and where it's hard to tell who is going to win. Aggro decks make the game too quick and are too single minded to have any sort of back and forth. It's just survive and stabilize or die every single time.
What do I do to survive against aggressive decks as a control warrior now? The only way I could live through pirates or Hunter or token decks was to get war axe in my opening hand. I don't see how the deck can survive this change, there is nothing to keep me alive in the early turns now.
I'm just imagining a match up between pirate warrior and control warrior. This nerf actually gives the pirate a bigger advantage than it gives the control warrior. Man blizzard is stupid sometimes
my favorite part is that the nerfs actually make my favorite control decks worse at jade than before. I've never really been annoyed at a round of nerds until now. No idea what was accomplished here.
I think this nerf is related to pirate warrior not control one. Since it's give a huge advantage at turn 2 plus dread corsair
That was obviously the idea but without war axe I have no way of dealing with early drops as a control warrior. I think it nerfs control worse than pirates honestly

Dead man hand counters a very specific strategy, it doesn't itself need a counter.

This seems so unnecessary to me. Hex was the only reason control shaman could compete with certain decks like greed priest.
