It's a video game made by a corrupt-as-a-motherfucker and abusive corporation with a parasitic monetization model, that has like NONE of the original creators and designers even working on it anymore (or at the company) due to the rampant abuse, corruption and parasitism.
And then you see posts where folks spend $70 on a whim supporting said abusive company and parasitism, and you can't help but feel that the games industry has turned to utter shit specifically because moronic, utter braindead gamers and aficionado centers who do NOTHING to change ANYTHING, like this beautiful site, made that so, so easy.
It may not be your life, but for the thousands of employees who are regularly abused, harassed, threatened, blackmailed, and extorted by Bobby Kotick and his fucking henchmen, who are all actively enabled by moronic, braindead gamers spending $70 on a whim on their shit, lives do matter. But, as long as someone gets their shitty digital cards, then who cares right?

1-They don't want to financially support a company that pulls that shit. Those streamers? Chunks of their ad revenue goes Activision Bobby Kotick. It's unfair that the developers end up being punished, but they get paid either way. The extra money goes exclusively to the dicks in charge.
2-He'll never be forced out. He owns half of his shareholders through threats and retaliation tactics. In other news, Blizzard's co-head was forced to resign due to shitty working conditions, while Bobby Kotick is raking in the cash from those shitty working conditions and even making a few of his own.
