Reno priest is more flexible in the wild meta, whereas cube lock jumps up or down. I think Reno priest is the more safe craft, esp since all the reno-esque cards, and all the anduin combo cards, are useful in other contexts, but cube lock's core pieces require other expensive investments to use elsewhere.

Rainwulf posted a message on Unnerfed Reno Priest or CubelockPosted in: Wild FormatCubelock is funny for me. I only play priest if its neccessary for a quest. I also hate pew-pew-priest. Cubelock with the Albatros also is good against highlanderdecks and it destroys a little bit the draw of the new miracle druid. Very funny if they try to pull maly with quest and instead they get a 1/1 Albatros or they draw one with the Witchwood pipers instead of karl.

FuRenz posted a message on Unnerfed Reno Priest or CubelockPosted in: Wild FormatI find Cubelock very fun to play and effective, and personally HATE priest exactly because of renopriest/machinegun.
If you happen to be on the eu server I can share decks. Renolock is also very fun. -

Trevolock2 posted a message on Unnerfed Reno Priest or CubelockPosted in: Wild FormatYou can’t really go wrong with either one. If I had to choose right now I’d probably say Reno priest. Priest just got some of its core cards reduced by one mana, which makes it significantly stronger. I also think Reno decks are just a lot more fun because you can swap cards in an out and put your own twist on things. Priest has a lot of flexibility because it’s removal and board clears are so good

Mackie264 posted a message on Deathrattle Rogue vs. Quest Hunter vs. Pirate WarriorPosted in: Standard FormatDeathrattle rogue is for sure the best deck out of the three, it can beat literally any deck if it draws the apothecary and necrium blade pushes it a lot further, the deck can still function without this but it obviously helps a lot. I do believe the whelps version is a bit more stable and less high rolly, of course you always want apothecary but the warbringer version runs a bunch of subpar minions so it loses harder when you don't draw your good card, so think about that.
Pirate Warrior is an ok deck, just a generic aggro deck that goes face but I definitely wouldn't spend to much on it, if you're missing up to epics then maybe it's worth but I wouldn't go out of my wy to craft the new legendary weapon, the deck doesn't feel like anything special to justify the cost.
Finally Quest Hunter is a weird one, it became a thing cause it's good against Galakrond Shaman specifically. The nerfs to shaman will for sure make it weaker and slower but it'll still be a good deck, so that means Quest Hunter is probably still going to be good but it also means other decks will arise and control decks are likely to show up now that Shaman is weaker and Quest Hunter is a deck that's very easy to counter. On the other hand I would suggest looking into Face Hunter, it has the same principle which playing a lot of stuff but this one just ignores board and goes face (duh). It definitely is better than Quest Hunter and incredibly cheap. The downside is that the deck is just painfully easy to counter, specially with Shaman weakened, you just run taunts and heal and the deck fuels out, but I think it's still worth the craft with how cheap it is.
Having said that just wait until the nerfs roll in and give it like a week or 2 so we can see how the meta is gonna shape up. Just play with what you have for the rest of the year and then think about it again, there's nothing worse than crafting something that's going to be bad after the new meta settles.

Random_Huffer posted a message on Deathrattle Rogue vs. Quest Hunter vs. Pirate WarriorPosted in: Standard FormatPersonaly i would go for Pirate Warrior. I had a lot of fun with this deck around rank 5.
I also can recomment to look at the current Face hunter if you like to play aggro decks. There is a strong version that only has the Lepra Gnome Sidequest as epic the rest are common and rare cards. I climbed legend with it yesterday. Prob the best budget Deck right now.

Bcvolpe posted a message on Deathrattle Rogue vs. Quest Hunter vs. Pirate WarriorPosted in: Standard FormatI Think pirate Warrior is weak! Deathrattle Rogue is good but too luck dependent, if you don't draw Apothecary early on you just lose (I have this deck). Quest Hunter looks like the best deck for you! (In my opinion)
Take a look at Zoo Galakrond, looks very solid and cheap.

FTPhack posted a message on Your Experience with Galakrond shamanPosted in: General DiscussionI kinda think if they changed Invoke to not being a battlecry effect then it might even things out enough w/o killing the deck.
