Still having the same problem for me, logging out and back in will work for a bit then it will just hang, apple says it's blizzards problem, blizzard says it's apple.  joy.

This is also why a re-install works once: you have to log on for the first time after installing.

 I’ll have to try this. Works on my iPhone no problem but the iPad Air 2 is no go. Apple said it’s a software problem and not related to the hardware.  Seems like it’s not getting fixed anytime soon

I opened a ticket and was told it was apples fault snd to open a ticket with Apple. 

What did you do to fix it? I tried uninstalling and rebooting then installing. Worked fine until I stopped playing then freezes at the start screen when I try to play again
