This doesn't work anymore. He just freezes all the jades and his minions go face.

Aggro is so fast now that if you want to play control or midrange you may as well just take your ball and go home.

Even with Raza nerf Priest is still insanely overpowered. This is a clinic in his not to design a class for balance.

Meanwhile, ranked play has gone from Frustrating grind to absolutely pointless.

And of course there is the issue that will never be fixed, where the overwhelming majority of players, even bad players will just use whatever deck is most OP for any given meta, making it impossible to play a deck you enjoy playing. This even infects the low ranks where a large number of lousy players run a tier 1 deck so they never rank up very much but they are omnipresent on the ladder to roadblock anyone not running a tier 1 deck.

The ladder changes have really hurt the experience. Before I didn't mind grinding the lower ranks since they were only 3 stars and I just had to win 2 games. Now I open the game and see I have to get 5 stars to go from 18 to 17 and I just can't be bothered. Besides with this meta getting 5 stars requires about 4,658 games.

Blizzard employee: Mr. Brode! We're losing players! They're complaining that the ladder system is too frustrating and too much of a grind!

Brode: Hm... Make it require more grindy and do nothing to fix the obviously broken matchmaking system. Make it take more wins to rank up and be sure to try to match every player against a broken Warnock deck every other game!

I can really only play casually at this point because playing daily is too frustrating.

I see unlimited 5/7 charge minions is this meta's cancer. Is it to much to ask that every expansion or patch doesn't have one ridiculously overpowered deck that ruins the game?

Sometimes it feels like ladder matchmaking is 50/50.

I need some consolation after opening 45 packs and find 1 legendary (pack 42) and 9 mythic (0 golden).

I suggest not to buy the Mammoth bundle.

    I feel robbed...

That's pretty typical tbh. I expect to open 1 legendary per 40 packs.

They pulled me back in with that 3000 pack sweeps.

Lucky us, it only took a year to nerf the cards that ruined the game for me. Of course, every meta has to have at least one overpowered deck type.

Raza is dead. Long live Kingsbane.

    here are the numbers,
I spent 270 euro on packs for this game in less than a year.

I opened more than 70 cobalts and catacomb packs and got 3 legendary's so far. Now I'm dusting plenty of legendary's and epics in my collection to be able to play SOME of the new decks.

I'm fine paying for games. But when u spent all your time and 300 EURO that Should make it possible for you to craft SOME of the new DECKS EASY! Especially since IM DUSTING A HUGE AMOUNT OF CARDS IN MY COLLECTION!

an example of how mad this exchange currency is...
A while back I dusted a Doomerang (got 100 dust from it).
Now I had to re-craft it (Had to DUST A LEGENDARY (that i paid 1600 dust to craft before) to craft it!
that is a LOSS of 1500 DUST.

    FUCK THIS PRICES.
    It's unacceptable.

The average rate of legendary cards is 1 per 40 packs. I recommend to understand this and manage your expectations accordingly.
It may seem like a poor value to you - if that is the case then my best suggestion is not to buy card packs.
The only way I could ever see Blizzard increasing the appearance of legendary cards would be to motivate players to buy more card packs.

    Yeah, I think I'm done.

The new meta decks are just stupid. They're not even fun, they're just based on building the most ridiculous combos imaginable. Skill has become less and less a factor with each expansion and I think now it's at the point where the role chance plays in any given game is so much higher than that of the decisions made by the players that it's no longer enjoyable to play.

I won't get past rank 15 anyway so I may as well enjoy it there.

That very small sentence explains your whole argument in a very simple way: you're a bad player who also happens to be a salty 12 years old child, you're crying because there's too many priest apparently and they are this huge impossible monster to win against while also being stupid easy to play to the point where a blind donkey with no legs could reach legend with it.. yeah, I feel all your salt has blinded you, you can't go past rank 15 lool I think you have a bunch of other issues other than priests. Finally I encourage you to play a priest deck like Highlander for example for lets say 100 games or so and then say it's an easy deck, you can't evaluate a deck for how it works when you and your opponent draw the absolute nuts from the start, that only happens in a few games, the games when your Raza or Anduin are on the bottom 5 or 3 cards (either of them or both) are where you can actually draw the line between awful netdeckers that can't even copy the deck right and actual good skilled players, which you clearly are not, I just love rank 15 players rants about how unfair and unbalanced the game is lol.

I figured someone would make that comment. It's only recently that I stopped trying on the ladder. I've been playing since GvG and usually I finish the season around rank 7 or 8, which I think is ok given that I only play like 3-5 hours per week. I got to rank 5 once but it took a lot of time and I really don't have the time to commit to try and reach legend. That rank 5 season I think I was playing about 2-3 hours per day.
Am I a bad player? I don't think so. I think I'm ok. Maybe even good. Definitely not great. I play hearthstone casually and it gets frustrating when even the lower ranks are dominated by tier 1 decks. Of course, that means the people playing them don't really know how to play them.
So I'm trying to play control warrior or n'zoth warrior, and I'm up against all these tier 1 decks. I know how to play the deck reasonably well I think, but these priest players just play on curve and win by default. It's annoying. It sucks when you watch someone make a bad play every turn and they still win. It's more annoying when that's happening frequently.
I played a few games last night and the new decks I ran into were just ridiculous. It's not even about learning how to play a deck anymore. It's just about building the craziest deck possible. I could build one of those decks, but I don't really enjoy playing like that. I want to play games that require some decision making. I don't mind losing a game if I can retrace my steps and see where I made my bad play. Those are the games where you learn. If I can say "I should have saved fishes" or "I should have put down a taunt minon there" then I lost fair and square and I'm comfortable with that.
When it feels like the majority of games are decided before I even have the opportunity to make a bad play, that's really frustrating.
There's no skill involved in dropping Barnes on turn 4 and getting infinite Y'shaarjes. I know when I'm playing against a priest to mulligan for a ping and an execute, but if I don't have those in my hand I've lost before I had the chance to try to win. That's not balance, that's a deck that has an unfair advantage against other decks by getting a minion that no other class can remove on the board early in the game. This is the equivalent of a baseball game where one team starts with the bases loaded every inning for the first three innings. It's unreasonable to expect anyone to have a chance at winning that game.
This is kind of turning into a rant, but yes, a game is unbalanced if a particular class has an unfair advantage over every other class in the game and in this case priest has two deck configurations that have such an advantage.
