I would say I'm pretty decent at arena (I average around 6 wins per game) and the way i usually draft is:
Minion Quality > Curve > Synergy
For the first 15-18 cards i always select the highest quality minions, then I decide my game plan and fill my curve and synergies based on that. Obviously i don't follow this religiously, there are always exceptions, but it's been working out for me for far (300+ arena wins)
Getting better at arena often comes with experience. You need to know what you're opponent probably has in there deck based on the # of wins you have. For example: if you're around 7 wins and facing a paladin, its highly probable they have consecrate so try to play around that. Mages almost always have flamestrike and at least 1 single target removal, so if you're approaching turn 7, consider trading off your cheaper minions and not swarming the board. Rogue's have crazy early game tempo cards like backstab and etc but not a lot of accessible board clears so it's relatively safe to play smaller minions. Shamans have high quality minions like dr4 and totem golem with drawbacks so try to mulligan for your early removal, etc.
In addition: it is almost always better to develop your own board rather than remove your opponent's. For example: turn 2 if you have a choice to frostbolt or ping your opponent's 2 drop or play your own, play your own to contest the board. Exceptions do apply such as if your opponent has something threatening like a knife juggler/mana wyrm. General rule is that you always want to have a minion on the board
This arena run was especially crazy. I'm a pretty frequent arena player and average about 6 wins. Last night i drafted a deck i thought would do pretty well but ended up 0-2 and needless to say, I was extremely frustrated. This morning i considered retiring but I decided that i would just play it and get to 3-4 wins at least get my gold's worth. To my surprise i won every single game and ended the run with 12 wins. Deck is in the attachments below.
The reason i felt this deck completely steamrolled everything is because of really high quality minions (zombie chow, creeper, shredder, etc.) and high tempo curve. Almost every game i opened up with 2-3-4 drop or 1-2-4/coin. Chow -> creeper -> perdition blade won me about half my games and turn 1 coin -> defias won me about 3. Nobody could deal with the crazy tempo this deck had, especially with plenty of cheap removal. Sinister Strike, Wolf rider, Dark Iron Dwarf surprise lethal closed out a surprising amount of games.
I would have to say that corrupted seer and Perdition's blade were the 2 mvp's during the run. I mainly used my FOK to cycle and clear 1-2 minions since i knew i didn't have any spell damage in the deck and nobody expected the seer. Perdition blade almost guaranteed early board control and won me a few games by itself by clearing 2 early minions by itself.
EDIT: what'd i thought would be great, recombobulator, almost fucked me over too many times. I figured with minions like Seer and Prophet, Recombobular would generate huge amounts of value. I was horribly mistaken. Almost every time it turned my prophet into a corrupted seer, and I didn't get to use it on seer very much. I used it a couple times to exchange damaged minions for healthy ones but almost always it gave me a lower quality one.
EDIT: added rewards. 2 packs, some gold and a golden auchenai
What do you think about a sea giant? You mentioned that zoo is a hard matchup and since you both swarm the board pretty early, sea giant should be relatively easy to bring out. I would imagine that zoo would have trouble removing an early 8-8.
I've been playing around with miracle druid for a while now and noticed a couple things about your list:
-Malygos is great when you can hold your damage spells, but unless you're facing a heavy control deck, you're going to have to use your spells to cycle with auctioneer and/or clear with moonkin
-I find Elise a much better win condition than malygos. You can dedicate all your spells to clearing your opponent's board, and with the amount of cycling you do, finding monkey isn't all that hard.
-You can add violet teacher drastically improve your aggro/midrange matchup
-What do you think of naturalize over Mulch? I have bad experiences giving my opponent's Tyrions, Rags, and Antonidas's with Mulch, and the mana difference is pretty noticeable if you're looking to cycle with auctioneer/make big plays with innervate.
This is the best draft I've gotten in a while. I feel like I got a really solid early game, lots of cheap board clears, some removal, and a really strong mid to late game. I just came back into the game and am a bit rusty, so some tips or comments would be greatly appreciated (IE: what i should b mulliganing for, what matchups i should b wary of, etc.) You can also try to guess the number of wins I'll get in this run, (before leaving this game for about a year my average win rate was about 7, not really sure what it is now)
Notable drafts:
2 Nzoth first mate
2 Slam
2 Ravaging Goul
Explosive Sheep (with whirlwind or ravaging it's a 3 dmg aoe which definitely isnt bad)
The fact that you got 2 flamestrikes will carry you pretty far. It looks like you have some decent mech synergy as well in addition to waker/apprentice. Your choices well mostly spot on except: I would've chosen aberrant berserker over the Kvaldir raider. a 6-6 for 7 mana just isn't that great. Especially since you have 2 of them. Solid curve and good midgame (faceless and healbot) will help you win a lot of games.
Upgrade Warrior completely shits on Mill Druid. You want to give me more cards? yes please. I've been playing around with doomsayer + upgrade/ Coldlight + upgrade
Logged on today to find that all my decks were unplayable. When I checked why, I saw that every single 2-of card in every single one of my decks was removed.
I'm having a blast playing Hotform's Moonkin Miracle Druid with some minor modifications. Really good vs. any aggro/tempo/midrange deck. Lots of cheap boardclears and removal in the form of spelldamage + wrath/roots/moonfire. There is literally nothing this deck can't clear. Only problem is that it loses to miracle rogue (really popular right now unfortunately) and kinda annoying to play against zoo. Win condition is either elise or Yogg ("win" condition). Gadgetzan cycling helps you find your monkey and replaces your cheap useless removal spells in the lategame with legendaries to push for game.
I prefer warrior now since my favorite deck (Handlock) is pretty much unplayable now with the molten nerf and I hate zoo with a passion.
Least played: Priest, Rogue
No renolock? My favorite class is Warlock too and I've been playing a lot of C'thun Renolock and it's been working pretty well. I like warrior as well but only Pirate Aggro SMORc warrior

I feel North Sea Kraken is a suitable replacement for Ysera. I have both and prefer the NSK.

Thoughts on Alexstraza as an extra heal?

What would you recommend taking out for alex?
Have you thought about abusive sergeant. He makes the combo 28 damage.

Appears to be caused by playing the tavern brawl.
