I prefer combo and control decks, but the reason why people preferred aggro since the first are simple.
1) If most people play Control, then the Control vs control matches will last longer. This means that not only users who dont have much time to kill will be able to play like one or two games, it also means that if you lose in those two games then it will feel really bad to have wasted 50 minutes and feel only loss for example.
2) If aggro decks and combo decks dont exist, then control decks will have to combat only against control decks. This means that the greedier deck will probably win. Then people will need more win more cards. These are usually legendaries and as you can imagine people dont get all legendaries from every expansion even when they buy the big bundle + a few more packs. Also there are a ton of people who barely use money at all and if they do its for tavern pass, or a couple of packs here and there.
3) Many classes dont have a decent control archetype, at least not in standard. People like to have "main" heroes and then the rest are mostly for certain quests or to try a fun deck. So, no many options there
I mean if warrior had other choices it would be fine, but he doesnt so i keep it. Also, you can play control warrior with this for value against some control matchups. On a final note, we need otk and aggro decks to defeat cancer warlock quest or tikatus decks
In Europe you can disenchant the warrior's pirate quest for full dust refund. I don't know what happened with your account. Ask the support i guess. Btw, why would you disenchant a perfectly fine card and the only playable warrior archetype atm.
Actually there are many decks for Mage for both the wild and standard formats. And even though its slower, the nerfs wont cancel the exodia mage. Also, there are other nice exodia mages that dont need apprentice :)
Thanks a lot for the info guys. So, every big patch we get new chapters. That is good to know. I'll save gold for the next mini expansion then if it is so soon
I came back to Hearthstone after a long break. I am not sure how often these mercenary stories come out, but I enjoy the packs i get. Do we know when the next one comes out? It appears to me that its kind of random. I mean, it doesn't seem to have a specific date each month (correct me if I am wrong).
The others pretty much covered what I wanted to say, but as long this broken Raza and Dark Knight Anduin exists all are appropriate. The 2 mana blade flurry buff was much needed as rogue didnt see a decent aoe in ages whereas the super aggro Illidan has many already. As for the rogue quest, I think reducing the number of minions required is ok but minions should remain 4/4s imo. I also wish they would unnerf leaching poison.
I dont like people complaining, but tbh they might want to open packs because even with both bundles purchased they still dont have full expansion. So, in order to get gold for packs you need the reward track to be completed. It takes quite a while now. Hopefully new changes next week will help and I really hope they push even further as they said in January ir February. We also need the warrior solo adventure and the mini-set now that we get some free packs.
XP values displayed in Quests above are not final. Please note that when the Progression revamp goes live, all Quests (with the exception of Starter, Returning Player, and Duels Legendary Quests) will reset, so be sure to complete any old Quest you have in your log by November 11!
I think people did not actually read the card. It says, you draw if you don't take damage during your opponent's turn. Against aggro where you want the card draw (to draw ur answers), they always have at least one dmg from hero powers, charge, lepen gnomes, weapons or spells. Against control its easier to pull off with a freezing spell on the board, but do you really need the card draw against control where fatigue battle is what matters in many cases? I think the card is quite terrible and won;t work in any mode except arena.

Normally it should be around late January or early February for you. With the new changes this should make it mid January at most.

Put multiple 1 cost spells in ur deck. Play this, then wait for multiple 1 mana fireballs :D lmao
edit: Apparently it may give u spells from other classes as well, so the chance of what I said happening is much lower!
