Why is Blizzard pushing the female portraits so hard? I love my Valeera and core Maiev but ok they release a very nice portrait of Van cleef who steals a treasure chest for Battlegrounds and we get a lukewarm pirate Maiev for normal Hearthstone? Come on...
I did the sane thing and I got Kurtrus the Ashfallen, so not too bad overall. I like the card and since it will hopefully be a year of more minion-based hs, it may come in handy. I also play quite the number of matches in Wild so its good. However, people should wait if they play standard.
Before the kazakusan and the previous two nerfs i saw lots of decks at least to D5 (dont have time or patience to go higher most of the time). Mage had mozaki, questline, hero power, big spell and the standard value with the ingites. Shaman had, elementals aggro and control, burst, bolnar etc etc Warlock had owls, questline, zoo (which still works great and super cheap), druid had beast and normal ramp, rogue had poison, thief, secret, questline. other classes had stuff too, I am just bored of going over everything. How many decks do you want per rotation? Anyway, to me it has been fun.
Edit: Sorry, I must be sleepy. Thought your response was for my message :D haha
To me HS was always frustrating to try and compete. Even in classic, after 3-4 months since the Open beta people stopped playing that much control and minion trade and started playing full charge hunters, rogues and even weapon warriors. Only Paladin could survive and otk mage. As a player who played more or less all the metas except maybe rastakhan, I can say that this year has been the best to me. All classes had control, aggro and combo/otk decks. If you want to have more counters and avoid some of the stale ranks ofc you can play wild and there things change drastically. I am doing exceptionally well with various reno decks, murloc shaman, pure paladin. Will you face more pirate warrior there and shudderwock shaman? yes. Do you have options because of all these expansions available to you? Hell yeah. You just need to understand what people play and build counter decks. Anyway, I think hs as a whole is better now than what it was in the past. Any of the veterans remember GvG bullshit when it came out... :)
This and brukan for insane dmg turn 10. ofc it takes lots of cards and u need to survive . maybe bioluminescence is easier to pull off in questline shammy

Maybe is a brand new mode? Like we had mercenaries this year and the year before battlegrounds?

Smite is so healthy for the game when we have kazakusan and ramp druid in the game.

I am not talking about optimal deck or aggro deck. I am talking a fun control beast hunter in wild :D

Fire sale is way better overall but mostly in a spell mage whereas this card can work in aggro mech mage too

Yeah, except Questline hunter and pirate warrior will obliterate you before u even play that monster, let alone get value by stealing cards :D

also some of the spells give u attack or do dmg to the enemy anyway. so, no u dont need 15 spells

As long as questlines exist, these type of slow cards are half dead. In wild where rogue has evasion and saps and reno then maybe it can work
