Coming from a poker back ground I think hearthstone players could improve their game immensely by learning the underlying mechanics involved in most card games: The biggest one "variance"
Pre-zoo aggro warlocks worked a lot like face hunters and rush rogues. They'd burst you down with low value minions, mostly with charge so that even if you managed to remove them, they'd have already gotten enough value out of them. Back then, we didn't have cards like Unstable Ghoul, Haunted Creeper, Echoing Ooze, etc to stop such a strategy if it got too out of hand. If this deck or its variants ever get dominant in the NA scene (which might happen if control decks are everywhere), we might see more rush decks come into play, followed by a response of midrange burst to counter, and so on. Who knows!
I dunno...but as far as i know, this deck is a control deck killer
It would be amazing to see this deck be played in tournament by a pro...then the opponent would go on tilt the rest of the match lol!
I would pay to see this lol. Having a play with this deck atm first match was to a control warrior needless to say i ended up with 30hp and 23 armor
hunters are not a threat to the game's balance anymore.
Playing consistent decks is now more rewarding than playing explosive decks, which makes it so the skill level required to play Hearthstone is increased by over 100% of what it currently is.
The variety of decks is now increased, fuck: I am DEing that leeroy and making a Tirion right after the nerf hits!
Outside of Miracle, no other deck will be fully affected by this change. Leeroy is still playable, just not OP anymore.
Omg the amount of vitriol is pathetic. The majority of players are only looking at the small picture which in this case is the fact that 2 cards were nerfed, now take a moment and a deep breath and think about the amount of decks that will now be viable on the ladder.
I feel these changes although strong will in the long run benefit the game
The nerf Hunters may need is on hunter's mark, which should cost 1/2 mana, or be like "deal X damage to a minion" and be 1/2 mana (a removal spell like backstab is). A 5 mana 3/2 Buzzard is unplayable.
I feel hunters mark should remain a 0 cost card but should be reworked i.e. Target creature takes double damage. as for the buzzard nurf that seems a bit steep.

This card is incredibly strong ! Probably the best "Win more card" in the game.
Just going to throw it out there now but I believe this card will be changed in the future.

To improve your match up vrs Handlock consider adding extra shadow word death

Well in my priest deck if Ysera lives my opposing player turn 10;
Step 1: Divine Spirit x 2
Step 2: Ruin any taunt the opponent worked so hard to get on the board with Mass Dispel
Step 3: Wait and act like all is lost
Step 4: throw down Crazed Alchemist
Step 5: Profit

I am really looking forward to a greater breadth of decks =D

Would Alarm-o-Bot be a plausible way of getting Malygos out early ? maybe lower the minion count

So the answer to your question is "rank 5 to legend is a grind"
