In Wild with the card that silence your own minions can be good, otherwise in standard without a new card that would change that, it is underpower, you would rather draw over that with benedictus

You can play more token version since you have cenarius, so raven idol seems better, arcane giant is more for a spell version to beat aggro consistenly, but then you will never use your cenarius, so you have to choose between these two version and then you will find out the answer.

I agree with PosterNutbag, The best way is with deathrattle, if you aim to use it in heavy decks it will be or less relevant (since you need to include some ba cards to improve its consistency or too heavy).

Where i have seen perfoming the best its in hunter, they just run so good cards that doesnt damage the deck at all that makes barnes a beast, sorry for the bad joke.

    Quote from HibouDesBois >>

Bane of Doom gets 47% (11/23  are summonable demons with stats or cost superior to 4) of summoning a higher cost demon than what you paid for it.

The problem is, it's way too inconsistent. It may lose you the game outright if bad rng is on your side.

Just like tuskar, just that there is no an archetype where bane of doom fit that well since reno is pretty weak in standard and zoo cant handle a card like that, too expensive and no reason to take that risk with zoo.
On topic, its ok if you guys like the card and you enjoy playing it, but yeah, that card it terrible.

Dont worry, now with medivh as card and hero also with two cards for the same character(like deathwing) there is always chance that we witness another illidan or a card like majordomo that makes your hero illidan.

posted a message on Is the game beyond saving? - Meta opinions

Some of the things that you said are really interesting to me, for example, 50% of the match against the same 3 decks, at least i faced the same 3 decks 60% of times or more, not joking, just cheked in trac-o-bot( adn yesterday was a lucky day cause of a high number of OTK pala for the last wing otherwise it would be even worse).

As you and everyone has said, it has been always like this, a unestable meta is cool, and stable meta is easy to track and climb, however it is boring if you play too much.

My problem is what you said about the dessigners wanting every deck adn class with a 50% of win rate, this shouldnt be possible, what are they thinking of? . This games needs more polarized match ups, you remember?, the trinity of  control/aggro/midrange. Rigth now this trinity is fucked for all sides, Control have only CW, zoo only aggro shaman and zoo, every other archetype is weak cause combos, card draw lack of early turns  and in aggro it is simply that no other class have tools to compete with zoo, if they are not at the level of zoo, they cant play aggro properly, maeby face hunter will rise this expansion and then would be some more choices (i hope dont, i hate it xD), every deck and class should have their purpose strong points and weakness, but right now some deck such as token druid (even that i love token druid) and dragon warrior and aggro shaman, have no decent counter, i know that it is very apealing in tournaments, where you need a deck with not hard counter to open with, but when the game is flooded with those decks, it is realy unhealty imo. It should be, if the meta is aggro, control decks and freeze should have a high win rate, whe the meta is midrange, aggro shold have a high winrate, and when the meta is control, take a screenshot, it wont happen again and then play midrange and farm controls like a boss. But uyou are telling me that designers are aoiding that kind of fact and just making the same kind of card over and over again? i want to believe that we will use some of the new tools (in this expansion or the next one) and make the meta a bit more possible to counter.

posted a message on Freeze Mage in the Wild meta

You can play it wihtout antonidas (since you run torchs) nor pyro, it works pretty good, just take a look of the greorc deck for example or dr hippi, that they managed to get top 8, just take away 2 cards and add mad sciencist (or even you can add an antique healbot)

posted a message on Is this it? End of the control decks forever?
    Quote from Kinxill >>

Why exactly are you all arguing about which deck requires skill, which doesn't ? Beside combo/OTK decks (with the exception of the Warrior worgle), most others requires just trading knowledge (something Arena teach you best).

Regardless of the deck, a good player will always make the difference against a bad one. There is a reason why in all format you meet net deck from rank 20 to rank 1. Player counts too. Even for smorking decks.

Hearthstone have been designed around casual gaming. No card features particularly complex mechanics, even the most researched ones are quite easy to use (Xaril for example is both well thought and easy to use), and combo mechanics are kinda straight forward. Most complex behaviour (examples from Toast 2-3 quizz video) in interactions happens once in a blue moon that you don't really need to learn them.

Priest control back in time was told to be a smart deck. Really? "Copy everything" and hope to gain control of the board ain't complicated, not Soulpriest + Circle combo. Chaman cancer is told to be a retarded deck. Yet, to maximize its efforts, requires to have a good knowledge of tradings priority and analysis of the game to decide when to smork, when to trade. What about pre standard control Warrior. Just survive til the end and Grommash face/Elise & hope for the best.

Hearthstone requires decent skill for any type of deck, if you hope to reach high ranks.

Dont take that serious this thread, its just a salty thread, just that made for control players, the number of well argumented comments say it for itself, everyone is messing concepts here also making the thread itself pitiful and making a fool of every control player.
Personally, i dont think that almost a single deck is really skilled, its the match up itself. For example, freeze is imo a hard deck, but if you play against zoo and both of you draw decently, you can missplay and still win although the deck is hard and shouldn't be allowed to do any mistake, but that match up is stupid for freeze, priest vs contorl warrior or another priest back in LOE was really low skilled, basially priest had a huge adventadge even if the warriro played perfect, and priest vs priest is the oen that starts better and can play velen in zombie cho or deathlord, nothing more. Zoo vs Zoo have a lot of thinking the first turn, and some tech decision that can change the game such as sea giant (indeed zoo vs zoo is more skilled than priest vs priest), CW vs CW was skilled before elise.
Still none care about skill or not, they are just salty and will complain about it, you never lose because your enemy played well, He is just a lucky retard.
