I thought there was a push from the gaming community to move to Standard and it wasn't just a Blizzard decision. Also, I thought Ben Brode told everyone the first year was going to be a bit bumpy, and I think this goes back to them switching gears in design to make Standard for the fans. As to the comments about Wild being more balanced, I think this is preposterous. I want to like Wild but it is sadly ruled by N'Zoth, Dr. 7, and Mysterious Challenger. If Blizzard took those culprits out, then it might be a more dynamic and fun experience.
I don't think using Gang Up is the way to go. I think Shadowstep x1 and Gadgetzan Ferryman x2 to copy Jade Spirit is the way to go. This is the way to boost up your Jade Golems. Gang Up will slow your deck down and you don't want that. Also, these cards can be used on Aya too, so more added value there.

The deck stopped working for me. Got crushed by Renolock and some non-Secret Paladin decks. Slid back to Rank 8. The deck is not as good as the hype.

Already made this mistake. LOL. I was still able to win the match though because I gained control of the board from the Shaman opponent.
