Exactly what I expected. Human brains don't really process randomness well, combined with the fact that the people who came in at the low end of the legend drop rate felt bad and therefore are more vocal than the people who came in at the high end. Almost no one opens enough packs for their experience to be a suitable sample size taken in isolation.
I beat this deck once. He didn't get a dreadsteed until I had him down to 10 health so he had to put it in the taunt position. I just kept a taunt up and kept digging for my direct damage. 2 Swipes and a living roots later I won.
I would be more sure about Prince Malchezaar if it were Battlecry add 5 legendaries to your deck. However between the fact that it will thicken your deck early in the game when you need specific clears and the fact that it obeys deck building rules so you can't get a second Sylvanus or something like that I'm not so sure.
I'll probably fill out the playable legendaries from the classic set since I don't have all of them. I should have enough for about 5 legendaries so probably origninal Ragnaros, Grommash and Alexstraza, I'll probably save some dust until the meta settles down and I see if I need another legendary or some epics for a specific deck.
This is about what I was expected based on Ben Brode's complaints about this card. I was hoping they might go for turning it back into a 4\3 for 3 mana though since they were nerfing the effect.
The calls I've heard for nerfing giants actually start with a desire to see BGH nerfed. But you can't nerf BGH while you have giants, in fact most pros I have heard analyze it thing BGH was created the way it was specifically to counter giants. So the thinking is that you nerf both together and then people get to play their other fun big cards.
Sharing these ideas might have given too much away. Since the stated reason for the nerf involved their ability to design future cards I suspect the testing was done with concept cards from the next adventure and maybe even the expansion set after that. Explaining in detail why one nerf or another wouldn't work might reveal those future cards and mechanics.

Not playable in the current brawl. The brawl is standard.

You personally, odds are fairly low. Odds that it will happen to several people out of millions of players, almost certain.

It was pre GVG. Greenskin was my first and third legendary.

It's just a way of saying you have to pay at least some real money to get the cardback. Paying entirely in gold can only be done one wing at a time.
