Those changes sound great, but they're coming like what, 3 years late maybe ? But better late than never, I guess. Thinking back about it, Ben Brode was a terrible Game Lead, probably one of the worst. Just sitting on top of his pile of cash, counting it, and doing not much else.
Looks like it’s time for Blizzard to slow down expansion release pace and take more time to think about card concepts, this expansion doesn’t look good at all.
Overall, recruit seems to be a weak mechanism. I mean, existing cards with this mechanism are never played, there’s a reason for that. Looks like an expansion filler to me.
I wonder how their strategy of releasing only expansions this year affected purchases. Personally I haven’t bought anything except the starter pack, while I used to spend much more money the previous years. Hope they will start to release adventures again next year, the game feels much less enjoyable this year as I can’t play many new decks.

They don’t have the talent required to do that anymore, unfortunately.

I really hope it won't be Dalaran once again. We already had so many expansions and adventures about Dalaran, I'm sick of it.

I think now it's safe to say that the departure of Ben Brode was a very good thing. They finally decided to shake things up.

So what are you waiting for starting a campaign promoting to drain the swamp and selling Make Hearthstone great again hats?

I guess hearthstone will come to an end in a not so distant future as well.

regular brawls already give one pack, so 40 dusts. It’s just two more packs than usual.

I’m really looking forward to get those 80 extra dusts !

Thank you for this post, this is the most interesting thing about this expansion I've seen so far .
