I believe the biggest issue with Hearthstone is mainly that there's simply not enough testing done with interaction of cards.
Outside of broken comboes, a 1 mana 3/2 in isolation might not seem to bad, but when you add in Patches the Pirate and all the other face cards involved in PIrates...well it gets out of hand.

Obviously they didn't have so much foresight into Emperor Thaurissan+ Faceless Manipulator + Power Overwhelming + Leeroy combo can be broken, as in isolation you may not ever live long enough to lock to use that, but when you add powerful cards that help with survivability the broken combo becomes consistent and very possible. (Though I think it should've been obvious that Emperor Thaurissan is a problem card that screams broken combo enabler).

Realistically speaking Blizzard needs a core pool of some of the best Deckbuilders to test their decks for them. MTG has a bunch of the best pros or ex-pros testing their sets before release and these are guys who know how to find broken interactions or build decks that lead to broken interactions...whereas I'm not so sure Blizzard's card testers are up to par with their card designers.

Is it me or did the meta shift again, was playing earlier and climbed from 8 to 3 with Dragon Priest fairly fast when all I seemed to face were majority Jade Shaman & Miracle Rogue.

Whoa from comments this card doesn't receive much love.

TL:DR : I might be wrong, but this card is at least, very good. Will see play, and because it's low costed for high value, you'll hate this card soon enough because you CAN'T deal with the buffed minion until it attacks. For non miracle decks, this is by far the strongest addition to Rogue set as it doesn't even need a stealth themed deck, just some of them.

Lack of playable targets makes this a bad card in the meta right now. Houndmaster is competitive because it affects more than half of Hunter's competitive minions so it consistently makes Houndmaster "PLAYABLE ON CURVE".

Last I checked cards like Gilbin Stalker, Twisted Worgen, and Worgen Infilitrator are not competitive even if you provide support to them with a card like this on curve. Shaku is a card but the rest of playable rogue stealth cards are too few and in between to actually justify this card right now.

Maybe in the future when they decided to make more competitive Rogue Stealth cards over Rogue theft cards we might legitimately see this as a great card but for now its affect on the metagame is negligible.

To those asking about this thing's race,  It's a Mantid which is a bug-humanoid race from Pandaria in WoW  where all the Jade people are from. Same race as Xaril, Poisoned Mind
