This is why ranked hearthstone matches need to be best of 3... this is clearly a "sideboard" tech card but it's a worthless card against classes that don't use secrets...
Well then...that was thematically great but I think the revealed cards were very underwhelming... a C'thun deck seems like the definition of an eggs all in one basket strategy... flood the board with very vanilla minions that only effect one card in your deck hoping you draw it and don't die before turn 10. Brode said that there were 16 cards that interacted with C'Thun so i'm going to assume that there will be an even number that interact with the other 3 Gods. If that's the case then half the set will revolve around this concept. I'm hoping they at least throw one new keyword mechanic at us by the end of the tourney.
While I still enjoy Hearthstone it is starting to lose its grip on me somewhat. With each passing expansion/adventure, and the addition of more cards, the limitations to the games mechanics are really are starting to add up. I just feel, and hope, that the game is heading towards some major changes in the future. With a limited mana pool of 10 crystals, no graveyard or exiled zone to interact with, and a small deck size of 30 cards they have seem to have boxed themselves into a corner. The upside is that all of these issues can easily be remedied in the future. This is a clear advantage to having a CCG in a digital space where errata is much easier. I see plenty of interesting mechanics/ideas thrown around weekly in the create-a-card competitions. I guess I would say my hope for 2016 would be for Hearthstone to break from its mold a bit and grow rather than cater to the new player but considering how many times in interviews they constantly mention their focus is to help new players I don't have much hope of that...at least for this year.
I try and do the most damage possible and play as many things as possible. For one to complete quests and also to play out the turn not just for lethal but to see how much damage I can squeeze out of the turn. I don't take all day to do it but it's nothing to get mad over. In fact I get more offended when someone concedes before I can play a spell or minion under 2 etc. to complete quests. How rude.
I have done arenas since launch and have only gotten 2 TGT packs... and I think around 3 gvg 5 classic. I'll admit it is annoying since I also would rather open new cards but it is what it is. I wish you could choose which pack you get.
1-3 with hunter 1-0 with mage... all i needed to see heh. I get that with the hunter deck you really need to try and trade into the mages combo pieces but you really have to get the right kind of RNG with the hunter deck. The game I won with hunter I got a nice lock and load string and got 2 bestial wraths and a kill command that got me lethal. But this is what Brawl is it's meant as a testing ground or in this case a preview. It's an alternate free mode in a free game so enjoy what you can, collect your pack, and go back to laddering to at least rank 5.
People will never be happy. They can't make a better version of a card or it's power creeping and they can't make a worse version of a card because nobody will play it. What you aren't saying is hey now I can have 2 Magma Ragers and 2 Ice Ragers in the same deck along with 2 Evil Hecklers and 2 Bootybays. Next set there will be a Legendary that says "Give Charge to minions with 5 attack." and everyone will freak out that Magma is better than Ice. It's stupid...
These cards are meant to fill out arena picks with slightly better bad options. Many cards are not designed wholly for constructed. I do think later on though when the card pool gets too massive that they will need to phase in and out sets like MTG for constructed play and will need to reprint/reskin cards.
If it wasn't a Battlecry it would be OP and without it its a worse Jungle Panther. It might find life in some kinda Mage face spell dmg deck but won't fit into anything as of now. Terrible arena card though. Also they should have added +1 spell damage on it to at least let it combo with itself and be a staple piece on some kinda spell damage deck.

58 packs so far... 3 legends/10 epics
Seems pretty consistent with previous sets

I opened 95 packs the first 30 I opened nothing but a few golden commons and a few epics.
I finished with 347 Commons 91 Rares 16 Epics and 7 Legendary along with 7 Golden Commons and 7 Golden Rares.
I pulled Acidmaw, Anub'arak, Varian Wrynn, Fjola Lightbane, Justicar Trueheart, The Skeleton King, Ice Howl.
It also left me with 2015 dustables.
I feel like I had pretty good success considering the first 30 were pretty underwhelming.

I think each Hero should have a unique emote to each other hero.

It should have been Deathrattle: Add an Armored Warhorse to your hand. I wish they would just announce a release date xD
