I've also edited the title of the thread to be more in line with the actual contents of seeking help for a bug.

xriffa posted a message on I think Blizzard want to make class bundles a thingPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from Sherman1986 >>People can do whatever shit they want with their money, no one has the right to tell others what to do or not. And of course, it's not our fault there are so many poor Hearthstone players out there... ;)
I wonder how it feels to be poor and powerless... I guess I will never know, LMAO!!! XD
Imagine making fun of poor people for choosing not to spend money on a video game and which is exactly what you said no one has right to tell others. Hey, just stop being poor, right? I hope you get to know how that feels one day because everyone can get down on their luck you included. In the meantime maybe some company will send you stickers and a cup with their logo on it for all the money and praise you gave them. There's nothing worse than a hypocrite and you're a bad case.

ItsZoos posted a message on Aggro Decks Rage Quit :DPosted in: General DiscussionAnything that punishes degenerate agro players is A-OK in my book!
I hate that we have this moral dilemma where control is considered virtuous to play while aggro is considered a sinful crime, like its a card game, a card game NEEDS to have multiple deck types viable for it to be healthy. There's nothing ethical about playing a slow deck and there's nothing evil about playing a fast deck.

Lyra_Silvertongue posted a message on What do you think about nerfing fireball ?Posted in: General Discussion*Sigh* please somebody post about how all card games have, and to varying degrees, need some card "staples". Anyone besides me? No? Okay, fine.
I played Yu-Gi-Oh for many many years and during that time learned the highs & lows of card staples. Many were busted (Delinquent Duo, Mirror Force, MoF, etc) and made a quarter to almost half of some decks the same, but other staples kind of were needed to make some themed decks consistent, or work period.
Hearthstone also has staples. In fact, it NEEDS staples. Classes have very specific themes (and yes I know the class themes have gone through many schizophrenic/bipolar metamorphoses, except for rogue because let's face it they will forever be kept a tempo-based class *sigh*), but classes without certain support cards (ie staples) don't make the theme work very well without those staple cards. Picture hunter, it has a very intentionally designed smorc hero power. No it was not the evil community that made hunters a smorc class. Now, imagine if you took every, or most, smorc staples away & just left it with the hero power. No KC, no hounds, no summoning of a random huffer, no bow. Would there be much of a point of having the hero power that was given to the class then? Sure, you could argue; "Hey! Let's just nerf or rotate all of the old hunter smorc staples and give hunters new ones to spice things up!" Well yeah you could do that, but then one could argue why we even nerfed/hofed the old staples if we were just going to more or less give hunters the same cards, just with slightly different effects, names, or conditions.
Staples are also needed because classes have strengths & weaknesses. Look at rogue for example. NO AOE!!!!!!!
*Ahem* Rogues lack aoe. As a result they need some other strength to make up for that glaring weakness. One of the results of that are high tempo single answers/removal (sap, evisc, etc). If we listened to random people on the internet that don't like class staples and say, nerfed or removed sap, then rogue as a class begins falling apart more quickly. It lacks aoe and then you suddenly start chipping away at the strengths that were given to the class to make up for it due to someone being salty about losing to their taunt or tempo being taken away one game due to Sap. Apply this to any class that uses one or more of the same cards in many decks of that class. Staples aren't always staples because they are OP, they are more often staples because it is one of, if not the only card that strengthens the class by doing what it does.

Kaladin posted a message on What do you think about nerfing fireball ?Posted in: General DiscussionThis is why I was against the nerf to Wild Growth. They've now set the precedent to nerf Basic cards, and everyone's gonna come out of the woodwork to call for nerfs to iconic cards they just lost to.
Get better as a player.
What your are saying isnt true. Basic/Classic cards are nerfed since beta. That said, team 5 is already developing the last expansion of the next year and I assume there is an insane rampcard in one of those.
Basic is different than Classic.
edit: I am incorrect however...FWA, Mind Control, Hex, etc. I am against nerfing Basic cards though.
"Basic is different than Classic." They both don't rotate.
Why are you against it? Wild Growth was a nobrainer to put in every druiddeck and that is a good reason to nerf it for me.
Classic cards have a rarity, up to and including Legendary. Basic cards are core cards in the game that you unlock. I am against nerfing Basic cards because they are core class identity cards. Just because a card is in every deck doesn't mean it needs nerfing. Look at Northshire Cleric, Blessing of Kings, Truesilver, Fireball, Hellfire, Swipe, etc etc. First off it's okay if a card sees a lot of play in a class. Second off, of the ways to nerf a card, changing the card itself is but one way. You could also give Druids a reason to NOT run a 2-mana Wild Growth. Keleseth is an example of a solid reason to not run 2-drops. Baku is a good reason to not run Truesilver. etc etc.

Terrorsquid66 posted a message on Just retire the entire classic set alreadyPosted in: Card DiscussionI don’t get peoples problem with the classic set. I love it. It’s SUPPOSED to stay the same and remain in the game. It annoys me how it’s getting all the flak for team 5’s incompetences. Especially reguarding expacs they didn’t balance correctly. That’s THEIR FAULT. They failed with the expansion. The classic set did not

Lyra_Silvertongue posted a message on Just retire the entire classic set alreadyPosted in: Card DiscussionThe HS 2.0 thread got me thinking about this again. Just get rid of it in standard. Clearly T5 has been doing major backpedaling and not understanding their game well enough since they have no clue what they want with this set. Evergreen philosophy at first, then HoF, then putting in rng filler to fill in the gaps caused by HoF. Not to mention nerfing classic cards instead of rotating them just to discourage people from using them, and targetting classes much more than other classes. and then trying to discourage strong neutral cards from being played. Clearly T5 honestly has no idea what their consistent design philosophy is when it comes to this component of the game. Just move it all to wild (wild player btw so I don't care if it is wild only).
I'm just tired of all of the design and balance backpedaling and drama caused by this set. It's clear that cards are going to be continually rotated out of this set in the future years because [Insert random card here] is causing [Insert unforseen problem with terribly designed new card] so it is quite logical to rip the entire set off like a bandaid.
