Did you seriously expect them to invite the guy whose content on YT is roasting everything they do. Regardless that he's right or not, it's quite obvious he's not the guy they want to give extra visibility and prize money to.
Not for me, probably because I'm still stuck in the bottom rank (of course, since I can't play bc of the issue) where all the people who still have golden core cards are stuck as well. As soon as you climb a little I assume things get better quickly as only those who know the fix have a chance to win anything and go up.
I guess test players play for testing purpose and don't really care about cosmetics like goldens. So they don't test bc who would really expect golden or not golden to have an impact on the game? I guess they will from now on.
I'm not justifying, just trying to find a plausible explaination.
I'll give them that's a big rotation, basically a complete one, except last years cards everything changed.
So some mistake was to be expected, I just hope they'll get it fixed quickly. That and the deckbuilder one.
The problem with the workaround is that it assumes everybody knows about it, and apparently it isn't true, especially for low ranks, then I guess if you can make it past it you'll meet people who wouldn't be there if they didn't know.
And they should also apply some quick fix like banning golden core cards because I tried to queue like 6 times in a row with no success after removing all goldens. I know it's probably the other people not knowing about it but still, I had to move to Tavern Brawl for the quests.
Too late, I guess. "horde is trash"? Apparently he's thrashing on this expansion bc it's horde themed and he doesn't like horde. Also he's disappointed bc he was expecting powercreep in THIS expansion, which is nuts.
I think, since this will be not only the first expansion of the year, meaning it lasts longer, but also the first expansion after a major rotation, they want to go easy on the power level.

"core" is the new rotating set that took the place of Classic

But how many games are played in the other modes?

Why? 5 5/5s for 7 mana are not enough?

You can also say under most cards "this thing dies to Twisting nether".

Don't expect crazy stuff, because this is the first expansion
- of the year, the one that sticks longer and is usually less crazy
- after a major classic - core reform. A lot of balancing already to be done, so they probably want to take less risks with crazy cards.

Very likely, since they said they were planning to add quillboars as a tribe for BG. (If I remember right)

And this rotation is bigger than usual, not only about expansions, but also the Classic set.

Yeah, I was also thinking, this in Wild is crazy good
