posted a message on Winning in long games vs short games

Hello everyone , hope everyone is doing well and hyped for the new upcoming expansion , I believe its going to shake up the meta hopefully throw DH off tier 1decks ( most likely not gonna happen but hope is the last thing to die xd ) but getting to the point , I been playing hearthstone for a long time , probably 3 years now with all the coming backs and all ,  and I find really strange that playing a 40 min game and winning rewards the same ammount of gold as winning in 5 min with a hiperagressive deck , It might reward more experience I guess but since im level 60 in all heroes it doesnt matter to me or old players . To me just shows that hearthstone dev team wants people to play agroo and win fast instead of long games so why bother to print control cards ? Just print low cost cards ( agroo or midrange ) so all games dont go over 10 mins andsave control players 30 min of theyr lives and it even feels more shitty when you lose . For example Im playing control shamman vs priest , I know I can win but the fact that I think imediately is that it will cost me 3 games playing agaisnt agroo vs playing this control matchup and even if I lose 2 of those 3 agroo games im still in better shape than losing a 40 min game vs a priest ( control matchup etc ) . Hope I explained myself well, lets have a good debate below and kind regards to everyone .

Broken beyond belief. It cant be balanced it should just be removed. I dont think anyone wanted a hyper-aggressive class, there is already hunter for that.

The only reason it doesn't carry a higher winrate is because of Blizz rigged matchmaking forcing loses.

What do you mean by rigged matchmakings ? Isnt it tottaly random ?

If you put a taunt in front of DH turn after turn, eventually they will have to start swinging into them. They take damage to remove your board and you stay alive that much longer. Their super cheating silence/ignore taunt stuff is limited.

I feel like the issue is that people don't play a lot of taunts, so when you do drop one, they have their answer to it ready to go and it feels bad. Or if you don't play any taunts, then you're just on a clock, like playing against Face Hunter.

I think if the problem is prevalent and we're seeing too many of these decks, it's justifiable to tech in one or two weapon removals or sticky taunts to try and get an edge. It will probably help more in general than it will hurt your other matchups.

I summoned 2 khartut defenders and 2 bonewraiths and 2 enhanced dreadlords and 1 scrapyard colossus in one match up and still lost , how many more taunts to exactly need ? xd

The problem with DH is that it is good at everything: face damage, minion pressure, removal, card draw, board clear, healing, insane tempo, weapons, Silence/ignoring Taunt etc. Some classes like Shaman struggle at even one of these. I think the biggest offenders are Aldrachi Warblades and Blade Dance; the main healing engine and the main board clear.

I just played against it while playing warlock , built a massive board full of taunts and he played both marrow slicer and the pirate weapon bring back and one soul shard lapiddary before just for me to end up being killed by him playing kayn and completely ignoring my board , doesn t seem fun to me , I rather prefer to lose to paladin after they play libram of justice plus concecrate than to kayn....

     Fun and interactive class.

Totally agree , I know there are a lot of unfun and without interaction decks like former turtle mage etc but like it was manageable and by that I mean not op ( maybe in wild but not in standart ) and it was nerfed while demon hunter goes unseen , seems odd that blizzard prefers to nerf fun stuff ( again in standart ) rather than opressive , unfun and OP stuff.

DH is ridiculous. Cheap removal ie blade dance? Check. Insane healing? Check. Insane burst damage? Check. Crazy card draw? Check. Cheap silence? Check. Class literally has it all. Nothing involves but pointing face and stacking burst damage. One of the biggest mistakes was Introducing this class.

And no DH has not all. Like every classes he has its weakness. No singol target removals, no card generation, AOE based only on damages, weakness to taunts, limited resources.

By the way. I really don't care about DH. I don't like it. I am a rogue player. But I think that, like now (no when he was released) he is a fair class. Strong but fair.

Are you dumb? They have removal, it’s called blade dance. And has added benefit of killing 2 other things and allowing that damage to go face. Sounds kinda like an old 2 mana rogue spell that got nerfed. DH is just a bunch of ideas they had for weapon classes that never made it to the retail game. Then they just put them all onto one class. Realized how dumb it made them look when the class doesn’t need minions to trade with or go face. But it does make me smile when I beat facerolling, knuckle dragging, non-stop emoting DH.

You are probably dumb or not able to read. I will quote what it is written: "AOE based only on damages" same as single target removals. Put on your brain if you are dumb.

Not to call anyone dumb because everyone has the right to an opinion but like you being a rogue player with no heals whatsoever find fun playing against DH ? Like for real ? Are you a masochist ? (not trying to disrespect here )

Maybe that happens because all classes have a lot of cards there (OP cards ) and since DH is new he doesn t have many cards yet or OP enough for wild I think but I think you could take Stardart DH deck to Wild and still win a lot of games but not as much as in Standart.

Totally agree with ya , how come rogue spell was nerfeed ( and it wasnt as OP in my opinion ) but Blade Dance is just fine ? Its just dumb from developpers part to nerf a class and create one with 3 times more OP cards , they should have just reworked basic set and soulbound cards in the first place in my opinion

Its not exactly an otk since its not 30 damage but my point is that , DH can do it very very consistently while combo decks that do a lot of damage in one turn build theyr deck for it and sacrifice early agroo or building a board to finish theyr combo , DH just smacks you in the face  and draws cards ( also very easily for my opinion ) theyr kit is just too damm op im sorry , its just should be nerfed , like maybe not the damage part since its agroo but just the removal that it has and is sooooo damm good

I understand there are stronger classes with higher win rates but doesnt it feel dumb to take like 12 or more damage out of no board ? it reminds me a litle bit of savage roar plus old force of nature , that shitt was fun has heck wasn t it ?

Hello everyone , after the release of demon hunter the same has been nerfed multiple times but it still is to me one of the most powerfull classes in hearthstone right now, I don t know why but the playstyle of the class or the cards in its toolkit seem very unfun to me , for example , your playing midrange or control whatever , and you play a decent taunt with or without buffs , on the demon hunter turn its like 100% likely they are going to silence it and draw a card ( for me the most op card in the kit since it can even be get from wandmaker ) or bypassed by kayn or just removed very easily ( ex : DH gets a lot of atack and then plays Blade Dance and obliterates your board because lets be honest , no one builds a board against them except maybe paladin right now ) so my question is , should it be nerfed ? Or am I being unfair to the class since agroo must exist as much control and midrange do ? Thank you all for reading and best regards.

posted a message on NEW OTK WITH SILAS DARKMOON

Hello Everyone , I hope im the first one posting this and im not being a total morron but here it goes, with the new legendary u can LITERALLY give a minion to your opponent and so with that you can give SoulBound Ashtong , if you know what it does it means you can OTK the opponent by playing Ashtong and then Silas to give it to your opponent and then deal damage to the Ashtong with damage enough to kill your opponent , the first way that came to my mind was with SHIELD SLAM BOYZZZZZZZZZZ , I just tried it with a unrefined deck and won , I dont have all the cards and hope that you guys try it with different variations , best of luck and kind regards ;) .
