People are sleeping on Wildheart Guff. Stop fixating on the flashy 20-mana cap - the real benefit is that it is the cheapest Hero card.
For 5-mana you immediately get 5 armor, draw a card and one NON-EMPTY mana crystal, which basically means the hero card costs 4 mana. On top of that, you get a Hero Power that is an upgraded Life Tap or an upgraded Wild Growth (again, you gain a filled mana crystal, which means you are effectively paying only one mana to ramp).
With Wildheart Guff, you will be ahead of other classes before they can even play their more expensive hero cards.
I'd be very interested to see how the game would go if you get 2x Lightning Bloom and Guff on turn 1.
A tier: Xyrella: Very strong card. If you pump in enough death rattles, this can swing the game decisively in your favor. Deathrattles in standard are varied and strong, allowing you everything from board clears, to AoE health restore, to minion summons, to card draws, etc. Priests also have more than enough ability to stall games to stack in plenty of death rattles. The hero power is stupidly strong, and can keep the game running longer than it should. This is easily one of the best (if not THE best) hero card this expansion.
Scabbs: The return of Vanish and free Preparation every turn. Topped off with 2 stealth minions that will almost assuredly stick around to deal damage. Like Xyrella, one of the best, if not the best hero card.
Kurtrus: The hero power is borderline broken. If you allow a DH to get a wide board at any point and this is active, you're dead.
Brukan: This one is kind of between A and B-tier for me. I think people are really sleeping on this card. The battlecry is pretty nuts and can be repeated by Brilliant McCaw, and the hero power is pretty much 1/2 the battlecry each turn. I really don't see how a card this flexible and with this much output won't find its way into most Shaman decks.
B tier: Cariel: Good card. I think people are a bit overreacting with this card's power level. The weapon is weak, despite being infinite, and the hero power is slow. If you're ahead, this will keep you ahead. However, if you're behind, this isn't a game changer that will help you win the game.
Guff: Solid card. My only concern is how slow this might be. That said, a Druid with 20 mana and reliable card draw is an extremely scary thought.
C tier: Tamsin:The battlecry gives you soooo much value, however why would you play this when you can just run quest instead?
D tier: Dawngrasp: While I believe in the big spell mage archetype, this hero card is lacking. The battlecry is random, and the hero power is way too slow.
Tavish: Upgraded secrets are okay, but nothing amazing. The hero power being 3 mana is kind of dumb. Summoning an Animal companion isn't going to swing the game. Honestly, the BC should have been 3 upgraded secrets and 2 mana HP.
F tier: Rokara: Weapon only gets two swings, which is ridiculous considering that it is the only battlecry for the hero card. The hero power is good, but situational, and WAY weaker than other hero powers. By far the weakest hero card in the expansion.
This is garbage. 8 mana runed orb, ignite your face, and cast a brainfreeze or frost secret. That or you play big spell mage, a deck that will not be good. And the HP is way too slow. Mage will be dumpster tier.
Yeah, this hero card is kind of weak in comparison to the Shaman and Priest hero cards.

This card is bonkers with all the other Shaman freeze effects.
3
Strong card all around. We’ll be seeing this card in every Mage deck until it rotates out.
2
Love the art on this! Also yeah, it curves right into Nourish.

Am I crazy, or is Windchill a stupidly powerful card?

Freeze Shaman might actually be legit……..

I don't think any card is outright broken.

The DH quest was so bad that even the Warlock weapon Runed Mithril Rod was better.

I’d really like to know how the 2 Demons summoned by the Battlecry are improved. Obviously it’s stats, but I’m still curious.
That hero power is nasty. You cannot allow a DH with that hero power to get a wide board.

Very good card.

Smashing a minion into the enemy hero is a cool effect. I dig this.

I'm liking this archetype.

Cool card. Not sure it works in the current (quest-based) meta though.

This is ridiculous. It works with Pirate Warrior, and Pirate Warrior is already one of (if not the) top decks in the game.
