Naga-Giants is not op. You got rushed down by aggro decks most of the time (for example by Aggro Druid or PW) and your power turn 5 can be strong countered by a lot of things: Lightbomb, Potion + Shadow Word Horror (yes 3 giants got killed in on of my games by SWH)
Nothing wrong with idol. Jade druid was trash before this expansion. Blame the rest of the druids arsenal that ALLOWS jade druid to exist, not the actual jades themselves. Without strong control and ramp tools druid would be dead before they can make a 6/6 jade. I've seen several druid decks that are powerful as fuck and don't run a jade package, hence why the classes other cards are getting nerved and not jade idol.
Slightly off topic (well... reversed) I've been playing zoo highlander priest and the last 4 games I've won and all my opponents just spammed "wow" the whole match
Wow so much hate. Just net deck in ranked, and save the fun stuff for casual or low rank wild. Sucks but it's just the way it is. I'm currently working on a control Hunter deck, I win sometimes but keep getting wrecked by demonlock which Hunter just cannot answer. If you really want to make a viable home made deck you need to figure out strong synergies and use strong cards. If you run a shit deck you just won't win games. Also I've been climbing ladder with Purify Priest, it's still a strong deck and less aggro this meta only makes it stronger

I'm trying to make a fun deck that is actually viable. It revolves around Hunters strong mid game potential and abusing death rattle mechanics. I play priest mostly so I don't actually know a lot about building Hunter decks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hunter needs the hero power changed to target minions not face. It's just not a viable class as long as it's hero power isn't useful to gaining the board.
So let Hunter start with an upgraded Mage Hero Power? I can't even be bothered explaining how bad this idea is

I've won every game with KT and lost every game with Raf. The new - 3 mana HP is bonkers. With Raf I just get given random shit cards
