I am in a similar position to you, I made a decision to always dust gold unless I was missing the card, but otherwise would not dust anything to try and complete the collection. I didn't want to splash a load of cash to do it though cos then it wouldn't feel like I had earned it.

Since Jan though I have been avoiding buying packs and saving my gold for the next expansion, I may go back and get the odd GvG card, but otherwise I am done with GvG and know that I will never complete the collection.

That was EXACTLY my initial thought...

And based on peoples arguments that's probably what I'm going to to...

If It was safe to bet I'd get everything I needed with this shopping spree, that would be fine (talking about the GvG cards).  But I run the risk of getting NOTHING, and then I'll have to spend dust on the WotOG cards to keep playing standard.

In the end, It would be the same...

For GvG I have 55/74 rares, 22/54 epics and 3/20 legendaries (41.420 dust to complete).  I have already bought Naxx.

with that little GvG cards i would forget the dream of completing your collection or spend some money to buy at least 60 more packs. crafting the cards from dust will be way more expensive on the long run.
Thanks... I was thinking of 80 packs...

    Hi

i would probably change Goals to get all golden or something instead. All Cards by this point will cost you alot.

Do you have all adventures? If not, thats where the realmoney should go first.

next, spend all ingame gold now on GvG. Crafting it all will be impossibly expensive. If you are really serious on having all Cards, you should also spend all your realmoney on buying gvg packs now.

However, i still Dont think its your best choice. :) you could consider just buying some gvg packs now and then be Done with it and focus on the old gods

I do have all of them.  How would you split between GvG and the new expansion?

Well, let's take your questions one by one:

    - Collecting all the cards from WOG and crafting the missing GvG cards? I'd say no, you still have quite a lot missing from GvG, so getting them only by crafting is going to require too much dust.

    - Going for GvG packs? Why not, after all if you're planning to play some wild fromat the money you're spending will not go to waste.

    - Will the pre-purchase + gold be enough to complete WOG? Most certainly not, usually streamers buy around 200-400 packs and don't even complete the extension.

Thanks for the opinion... the point of the 200-400 packs really helped, but also brought something to my mind: If even them can't get it, wouldn't be a waste as I'm not going to complete GvG anyaway?

This entirely depends on if you're going to play Wild a lot or Standard. All GvG cards aren't going to be allowed in Standard, so you'd only be playing them in 1 game mode.

I will probably never touch Wild... It's just a matter of collecting...  That's why I'm so doubtful.

    Hello all,

I opened this thread because I really don't know what to do, and I think a few opinions my help me.

    Here is the scenario:

I've never been or wanted to be a F2P player.  I work a lot and have a short time to grind, so as I just loved the game (the only thing I've been playing at the moment) I see no problem in spending the money I would be spending on console games with HS.

I have already bought the pre-purchase offer, which gives me 50 packs.  I also have saved money IRL so that I can buy 80 more packs.  I also saved 14K gold and I think I can get to 16K before the expansion releases.  I have only 600 dust.

Recently I decided that I'll collect all the cards, and that's the point where I need your opinion:

For GvG I have 55/74 rares, 22/54 epics and 3/20 legendaries (41.420 dust to complete).  I have already bought Naxx.

What would be the best strategy?  Collecting all the cards from the new expansion and crafting the missing GvG cards with the dust or go full retard in GvG packs?

Would you spend the IRL money to buy GvG packs?  Do you think the gold and pre-purchase will be enough to complete WotOG?

    I'd really appreciate your comments.

    Thanks for answering and no...

But I disabled some kind of weird technology banks in my country use for safety (it was installed before the patch and working) and it seems to be working now.

    Hi, guys!

Is anyone else having problems to connect to Hearthstone America's server using PC client?

It started happening to me since the patch.  Some few times it connects, but most of time it gives me the "Closed" screen that asks to reconnect.

In the same network, I'm able to connect with my mobile phone.

    Thanks for sharing.

Not only do I get a sweet cardback but I get $20 off my first round of packs, of course I will buy it. In fact I've already bought it. Bought it minutes after it became available.

     So did I

Played 10 games and won 9.

One of the niciest decks I've played.

I added Holy Wrath as mentioned by Elkeb and it works GREAT!

    Quote from Exacerberus >>

I'm a bit past the 12k mark right now, but I don't expect to buy more than 39 or 78 packs (pity timers) when the expansion gets released, unless there's a lot of interesting commons and rares: if all I'll need is a couple of legendaries I'm just going to craft them, as normally I'm rather unlucky with packs.

Isn't the timer set to 40 if you are unlucky?
