I'm really not a fan of this teasing stuff. It is not a trailer for a new expansion, but a fix for an oppresive meta. Just show us the actual nerfs now or two days later.

Dunyil04 posted a message on Wild Summit at Blizzard about Wild Format Balance - Balance Changes Soon?Posted in: NewsI would like to see all classes have ‘specs’ just like DK. This way certain cards can be restricted or controlled so that they cannot be played together.
it’s a great way to ensure unruly combos can’t be played and encourages a reimagining of deck building with old cards.
It also seems strange that they would bother introducing deck building limiters for one class but not the others. -

Sinthuja posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 9.07 - Submission TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsFlavor text: Before the rotation, this potion was known as Standardfire Potion.
Remember that like with Blast Wave , the overkill effect can trigger from multiple minions at once meaning the potion and the explosion can generate several new explosions into the deck causing potentially wild and uncontrollable chain reactions.
Lore:
Potion of WIldfire is a volatile bottle of fire used in Of Their Own Design Quest. It is obtained from a Forsaken Herbalist and used to set the corpse of Bathran on fire.

WhatAChamp posted a message on New Rogue Card Revealed: Lilian VossPosted in: NewsHow am I being pretentious? People are talking about using this in Burgle rogue decks. That is my favourite deck to play and one that I have a good amount of experience. I'm not being an ass to anyone, just stating where I think this would see the most play. I'm sure you weigh in on discussions about your favourite archetypes as well.

It's about a 4 for me. I've preordered every single expansion but this one I will pass. I am not big on the theme or the mechanics of this expansion. If I were to be honest, the quality of this expansion seems low in comparison to AoO and Scholomance. Also, shadowlands is right around the corner, not to mention cyberpunk. However, the biggest turn off is the recent battle pass. I hate monetization schemes like this. I can't help but feel like a hamster in a wheel. I just can't justify spending money on this game anymore. I hope everyone else has fun with it though.

My issue with a vast majority of cards in any expansion is that they are underpowered for no reason at all. A bunch of the minions could use a simple stat boost of +1/+1. In addition, whenever blizzard does push a new archtype in a class they trickle in the cards over a couple expansions or even worse they push an archtype with weak niche cards and do not support it at all. (Frost Shaman is a great example) What exactly is the point of this? 70 percent of the cards in an expansion shouldn't be near useless. This isn't a pack filler rant. It's a design rant. Also, the hearthstone team needs to build the cards concepts first and then the flavor second. Again, a great example is Frost shamam, ton of flavourful ice themed cards but no follow up in the next expansion because it wouldn't be consistent with the Kobolds theme. The cards following an expansion should either build on the groundwork of the previous expansion, or be strong enough where they can stand on their own as new archtypes. You can't add new mechanics for an archtype if you're not going to support them later on. If you do want to introduce a new archtype then the cards better be strong in their own right. Otherwise it's an endless cycle of abandoned ideas.

I asked Ben if the sack of gold is a clue and he simply liked the post. So hopefully that helps.

Technically speaking yes he should. He does the same thing as a hero card. (Except he adjusts health to 15)

I like the card, jade decks aside I think it'd be a great addition to a more traditional ramp style druid. Also, I'm not sure why people insist on naming cards that directly counter other cards. Yes, Big game hunter and deadly shot are a thing but they are basically non-existent in the meta. Am I missing something, or do people actually think that just because a card has a counter that means it's bad? I've seen this throughout every single minion reveal.
Oh well, I like the card and can't wait to play around with it.

Silence Priest maybe?

I think Eternus should read "Discover a time card"
The time cards should read - Turn X - Revert all aspects of the game back to its state on turn X"
