Don't let the jackholes that downvoted you bother you--I took shit for wondering why there were no women competing. (Apparently wondering why there aren't more than white/yellow males competing makes a bunch of people butthurt.)
At least one person was nice enough to say, "Hey, I don't know if you just didn't see, but the current world champion is female."
Nope, I hadn't seen, because I'm less than two months back from hiatus. But apparently I'm supposed to keep up with every second of HS even when I'm not giving a damn.
Unless you're a kobold, you don't need the shinies, anyway. Plain cards will do the job just as well, and you get the extra dust from powdering a gold.
The only exception is if you need it for a deck you're currently building--there's no reason to spend dust on a plain when you already have the card you need.
There's a difference between "persecuted" (a word I did not use), and simply commenting that it sucks that there aren't any women out of 48 competitors. Something that you and the other eight people who downvoted me apparently need to learn.
In my experience, they're usually from things you voted for, like "which player is going to win blah de blah tournament?"
I've been back only a month or less, so when I didn't get the packs you mentioned, it kind of confirmed that it was for something I hadn't participated in.
If you approached someone and started telling them they should kill themselves there can be consequences for that, the online space should be no different. [snip]
If a girl can get sentenced to 15 months in jail for telling her boyfriend to kill himself through text messages, there should be an equal consequence for people who do the same thing online. (So long as there's a sufficient paper trail, natch. Criminal trials hang on "beyond a reasonable doubt", after all.)

I literally don't have the words for someone who confuses "woke" with "being a woman and wanting to see other women playing".
People who use that term are fucking self-preening morons, anyway.

I've only been back six weeks, tops, so I would have no way of knowing that; just like the whole idea of a Grandmasters tourney is new to me.
(If I'd been here, I'd probably be cheering all over the relevant news post. ;) )
Thank you for the information. I appreciate it. ^_^

No female GMs in any region? Wow. That hurts.

I'm 20-10 with this deck. LOVE IT! Thanks, Grey.

That explains how you loaded so much into one turn! WOW!

How did you trigger spellburst on that win? Did you get the coin?

Okay, I might get at least one yet, because I received at least one SA pack for July rewards.

That's okay. I wasn't sure about your inclusion of SoS anyway. Glad you fixed it...too bad I already crafted it. LOL

BG isn't worth paying $20 for perks. Their out of their minds.
(Before you point out that they need to make a profit, they have--I've bought a lot of cards in the last thirty days!)
