The problem with Star Student Stelina is that if you use her and Glide shortly after, it increases the likelihood of your opponent getting back the card you just buried.

Can't go wrong with swapping in Eye Beam for a bit of minion murder. 😅

I thoroughly agree, Banny. Hitting a ceiling is an excellent time to get some exercise with your decks that you haven't been playing as a break from the climb.

Thing I understand: people complaining about unbalanced cards. What fun is a game that's too hard to win?

Thing I do not understand: people complaining about cosmetic things like cardbacks. They're just a bunch of pixels that have no effect on the game!

Yes, I get feeling cheated of achievements, but I don't get it in the way when people complain that they've been here since beta and so forth. Good for you? But why should other people be punished for a game you heard about in 2014, but the rest of us didn't come upon it until later?

Nope, I hadn't seen, because I'm less than two months back from hiatus. But apparently I'm supposed to keep up with every second of HS even when I'm not giving a damn.

I've only been back six weeks, tops, so I would have no way of knowing that; just like the whole idea of a Grandmasters tourney is new to me.

(If I'd been here, I'd probably be cheering all over the relevant news post. ;) )

There's a difference between "persecuted" (a word I did not use), and simply commenting that it sucks that there aren't any women out of 48 competitors. Something that you and the other eight people who downvoted me apparently need to learn.

Any kind of grief play is arguably toxic. You don’t occupy some moral high ground because you don’t do it.  You simply shouldn’t because it’s a good sportsmanship.

The new system is WAY better for slow players like me, but the game is getting more expensive and the people who can't afford control decks are still left in the dust. Blizzard deserves ZERO credit for doing the bare minimum, maybe if they make the full 170 card set at least 30% cheaper to complete. I want every player to be able to build a standard 4 old god control warrior when paying 60$ this expansion. That's very hard now if you open bad legendaries for a class you don't even play. Can we at least get a full dust refund 24 hours after opening a legendary? Nope, you're stuck with G'huun the Blood God and 2x Darkmoon Rabbit.

Bottom line this is the end of the line for FTP players. Well I suppose the FTP players can come back and play each new expansion, but with half as many opened packs why would you want to?

I normally can earn enough gold to buy 75 to 100 packs each season just by completing daily quests and 10 gold for every 3 wins. Now I'll be lucky to get enough gold to buy 40 to 50 new packs each season.

Q: What kind of a decks can I build from only opening 50 new packs each expansion?

A: Not ones good enough to want to keep playing.
