I dont get why bloodmage thalnos gets so much love. I mean he is just a weaker version of azure drake that you can only have one of.

Bloodmage is good because he is only 2 mana, so u can combo him with damaging spells more easily

Maybe change the steam sniper to 3 mana but have ur hero power targeting minions as a battle cry so ur hero power becomes not just a aggro tool. I like the idea of the armor bear, it's not op at all, seems to be in the same page as water ele, if u change it to a 5 mana 3/7 it's pretty much a crappy version of the druid of the claw since they have the same stats but druid can also charge.

posted a message on Its about time Blizzard! [Undertaker Nerf Discussion]

Undertaker was probably the single card that caused DR hunters to be competitive, to be honest, hunters are not even considered op at higher lvl of play, it is just a class that most players did not enjoy playing against. In my opinion, this was a good move by blizzard, since most players are happy about the nerf. The meta will probably become more midrange and control, but we still have zoo, so the super late game decks still have a hard counter. I personally prefer playing a 10-15 min control game where I get to play out my cards, rather than having the game decided by my opening hand. Good job Blizzard.

posted a message on $#@! Hunter

every class has unfair advantage in one way or another, pali has equality board clear, druid has combo and ancients, rough has insane tempo cards, priests have soooo many different combos, this game is about playing ur class's op cards to their full potential while trying to limit the plays of ur opponent, I understand hunters could be a frustrating class to play against but playing a priest for 30 min and lossing to fatigue is even more annoying. Every class is beatable and I dont think any class is op in this meta, maybe try to play as a hunter, nothing teaches you how to beat a class better than playing that class

posted a message on Surge of Golden Heroes?

It seems that the ban from blizzard had missed many bot accounts, I know 5 people that used bot, only 1 of them got banned, and I also played since beta but the wins from beta does not count towards the golden heros, only the ranked wins from after the release of golden heros count towards the 500. So having 3 golden is is ALOT, if u didnt bot

If not every warrior would be control warrior than it wouldn't be that strong. On CW it's kinda crazy but that shield slam is that good is more of a symptom and not the cause. Warrior like to drown in armor and who could judge them?

I think control warrior in general might be nerf worthy (just my feeling, without having the data feelings are not worth much) but not through shield slam. Also I would say execute is much stronger than Shield Slam.

Control Warrior needs to be nerfed?! It is one of the few classes that actually takes a lot of skill and thinking to play, as shown by the fact it is a popular deck in tournaments. It is no where near as rampant or as easy to play as other decks (not saying these decks are OP or bad just easier to play) and actually has serious counters. A nerf to this archetype would be a HUGE loss for Hearthstone as all the Control Warriors would just move onto Handlock/Paladin/Priest and the cycle of OP rants on the forums would continue. We should be happy this isnt like other CCG's where a couple of decks reign supreme, in this Meta there are actually several viable decks and playstyles and this is just one of them and not even the best one, however in my opinion it is the most fun :P

I agree with frank, as someone stated before, CW is the "healthy" type of deck that blizzard endorse, in the current meta it is a strong pick but by no means op, even if it became slightly op, in my opinion, blizzard wouldnt nerf the class because they support the play style. And I rather have CW dominate the meta than some other variant of rush decks.

But the thing is, shield slam's synergy with hero power is stackable over the several turns, very different from other class cards and hero power synergy

I also think too much of the class power is in this one card, perhaps nerf shield slam to 2 mana and buff another card from warrior

posted a message on Shield Slam OP. Nerf?

So the idea that shield slam is OP had always been on my mind. However with the expansion of GvG, we were introduced to a new warrior card, Shield Maiden, which synergize extremely well with Shield Slam, making Shield Slam even stronger. Now I can not help but to think Shield Slam is  actually OP, when I was attempted to get top 50 in legend with CW, this card carried the crap outa me. Against aggro, it is at worst a 1 mana for 2 damage which is a good card vs aggro, for control, it's pretty much 1 mana assassinate. I know  that it is a bit situational, it has way too much value and versatility for its mana cost. I understand that the strength of a card is not entirely judged upon its value but rather than how it affects the entire class and CW is about stalling with cheap removals and weapons until the late game, CW is strong but not OP so I don't expect a nerf on Shield Slam. So what are your opinions on this card?

posted a message on New Card - Bolvar Fordragon

its not as bad as people say it is actually. sure its weak to silence but at least its a very strong silence bait for tirion. In the upcoming meta, there will sure to be at least one or two silence per deck and as paladin u never want ur tirion to silence. better for this to be silence than for tirion. For the cases that this card isnt silence then its just so much value. This card might be slightly above average.

posted a message on New Card - Crackle

this card on paper looks like good value. 3 mana got 4.5 damage. But people forget that the rng factor makes it a average card, or even below average. Since u can't rely on it to always get the job done. People compare this to lightning storm, saying the damage role is ok but lightning storm is the only aoe shaman have, we have no other option, and the rng of lightning storm is smaller than this card. imagin lightning storm is deal 0-5 damage to enemy minions, I doubt many people would still play it.

posted a message on How is this for a control warrior deck in the current meta?

Almost exact same deck as mine, I play big game instead of the whirlwind, cleave instead of TBK. I got to legend with it so it should be top tier. How far you get is dependent on how well you know your match ups and playing accordingly

Haha I think I might have been one of those Mage. But i believe arena match u with people who have about the same arena wins together. like if ur zero win and I'm zero win, we get matched together. I don't think it takes account of constructed ranks or total wins.

posted a message on The Road To Legend

Hi guys so i just reached legend earlier today and I want to share my deck and my thought through the climb

So I played all sorts of different decks and experimenting while from rank 25 to 10. I felt that the climb from there was fairly easy and I had very few lose. After rank 10, my opponents got a bit more difficult but at rank 5 is where things got more serious. I was stuck at rank 5 for a little while due to increase in difficulty and me just not playing well. After realizing some of my misplays and a better understanding of the meta, I made a shaman deck that i climbing from rank 5 to legend in about 4-5 days.

idk how to add the deck to this post so heres the link http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/46396-frostys-legend-shaman-deck

It pretty much explains the my thought progress on each card and why I dont play certain cards. And special thanks to my gf who brought me some pretty good RNG.
