It is very nice to see a thread like this! I'm a warlock player from the very beginning and I've never hated anything in this game as much as DH. I picked up the new control warlock and I specifically set the deck to face dhs but in the end the matchup feels horrible. In my opinion it is not possible to have a "good" matchup against dh playing control warlock(but I really hope to be wrong this time). In the end I decided to start playing demon zoolock and I had a 11 win streak, having beaten dhs everytime
Yep this is true, however i found that in specific situation (especially against control decks) it's good move to let your Expired Merchant eat your prime to double it and gain some crazy value!
HI! Against Priest we must be as fast as possible and keep in mind the "math" of their boardswipes. Also I found that against priest is better to save a Infectious Sporeling with a way to give him rush in hand for whatever annoying taunt they could put on the battlefield (I'm not saying it's an easy matchup, but once you get used feels winnable most of the times)
Against DH it's really difficult... If we start with Imprisoned Scrap Imp we can get here but there are games we just can't win...the augmerchants are pretty good against DHs, the best advice I could give you is to kill everything on sight and try to build slowly a big board (best way to wing against dhs is to put a big minion on board as soon as possible and keep it at full health because they lack hard removal)
So to top off this topic and sorry for the double post, but this was my experience today, on rank platinum 2-3. People who say Dh isn't an issue on the ladder. Why is it the only thing you see is DH, I get that all these people are trying to hit legend and they only wanna play the top tier 1 deck. But where is the fun having 14 games and running into 13 times demon hunter.
Yes blizzard should nerf it in to the ground!
I know how you feel bro, I play on 6K legend and still 50% of my opponents runs DH. Also I saw your replay and it's the same thing that has happened many times to me. In my opinion this is just bad design (not a bad idea and I'm not saying that is easy to balance the game) because DHs have just too many good cards that are good no matter the situation...
It was the same for me at the beginning....actually all you said it's true but Kenrethad prime is very important in some situation to rebuild, also it has great stats in itself so can be that unexpected thing that closes the game for you!
Thank you! Currently I don't stream but I have some replays of my games, here is one against dragon priest, however I suppose you would rather have one against rez priest or galapriest...the plan is pretty much the same, put pressure on board and keep in mind the boardwipes (also it's very important to determine what type of priest you are against, rez priest could be challenging but remember that you have Infectious Sporeling and a lot of way to give him rush. Also note that if you do damage with the sporeling to a lifesteal minion it will turn before the lifegain happen and so the opponent won't gain life!)
I know how you feel bro but fear not! Obv they help but you can replace them, however the vulture plan is something that you need to rebuild after a board swipe... i think the best approach is to run 2 Neferset Thrasher and the lackey pack 2 EVIL Genius and 2 Serpent Egg. I hope this helps!

Hi! I think it also depends on the build and the player, but in my experience it is a very good matchup!

Hi! I feel it could be a good replacement, kanrethad could grant you some crazy turns but maiev could be sweet against annoying big creatures!

Hi! I would suggest Blazing Battlemage!

Thx! I'm currently playing on 6k legend and is still a bust (Rogues are by far the best matchup we have, DHs are still troublesome however...)
