posted a message on Headed for Legend - Standard - September 2019

I got legend last month in like 3 days. This time I hit it 2. Veeery easy climb with tempo rogue- had like a 70+% win rate overall with only druid and shaman being sub 50%. I also use nomi and he alone can steal wins from control war. Definitevly recommend using this rogue guys- haven t seen a lot of them and it counters a lot of the meta decks. Murlock pala gets slaughtered if you don t draw a shitty hand, highlander hunter is easy prey when you know what secrets he plays, priest gets rekt with sap,...

So it s time for MEMEing some whacky control nomi shaman decks! Cheers and happy laddering

My first legend was with tempo dragon warior back in 2016. Since then I didn t care for reaching legend until like 2 months ago where I had so much free time I grinded legend with control war...those games were so long lol. And this month I reached legend in like 3 days w aggro shaman- before SoU came out.

posted a message on Teach me to Zephrys, please

I recently tried to get Sacrificial pact but didn t get it. I played Voidcaller, tapped and something else so that when I played zephrys I had 0 mana left. I also was in a board state where after the tap I had 6hp and opponent had 6dmg on board. And with my Voidcaller I could have healed and put a Voidlord om the battlefield if he suggested Sacrificial pact. He offered me a fckin Lay on hands. I know he doesn t know what cards are in my hand but I didn t know he would skip preventing lethal over sacrificimg my own minions.

And for the record I specificaly played cards and tapped so I would know if he offers the pact for my own minion. I had a lot of other ways how to heal- I was simply curious.

So dont expect Zeph to Sacrifice your own minions even if it would prevent lethal.

posted a message on The Coin is The problem

Hello, I ve really though about that The Coin might be the most game deciding and overpowered card in the history of the game. It increases hand size (previously Handlock benefited from that, now cyclone giant mage) and it enables combos for rogue. Not only that- the player going first starts w 3 cards and the one going second w 4(5) which could be good or bad depending on the marchup. I just feel like it should not be counted as a card. For instance in the CCG TES: Legends both players start w 3 cards and the one hoing second has a ring of power (uniteractable object on the board) which has 3 charges- each granting you a one turn mana boost. Compared to HS I feel like that is reaally good because you have 3 potential turn to gain back tempo from playing from behind but also it doesnt grant you an edge on some card interactions. I know those are two different games but I feel like The Coin shouldn t be a card and the whole start of the game mechanic should be slighly adjusted. Like in the Mage mirror the one w the coin has like what- an 70% win rate?

Do you feel the same? Do you think my thoughts are stupid/great? I would love to hear from you! Cheers

posted a message on Luna's Pocket Galaxy issues

I feel like most of the cards in the cyclone giant mage are straight up OP. Lunas on curve followed by Stargazer Luna that just goes insane by playing Giants for free, Kalecgos for 1, then Alex for 1 and freeze your board w Frost Nova feels so bad and uninteractive that it just pisses me. I don t want to brag about every good deck but Ihate when the game goes into a direction that you cant interact with. Mech hunter was really strong but at least you felt there was a play you could make to tilt the game to your favor. Unlike a mage who goes nothing om T1,2 then AI, T4 that spell which reduces the giant by 2, giant coin CC. Wtf could I have done in that game...

posted a message on Nerf Warrior suggestions?

I would either HOF Brawl OR make it destroy all minions except the highest attack one. It would make more sense that the strongest dude wins a brawl and it would take away that RNG that can just straight out win the game on the spot- warrior has access to arguably the best single target removals in the game (execute and shield slam) so then you can brawl and kill the biggest dude wit a spell or some sort.

Dr. Boom should simply be 9 or 10 mana. By playing him on T9 or later you would lose SO MUCH tempo but then gain super mega value later on... on 7 it s just gg for warriors.

Also in a non hyper aggro meta Omega devastator is just super strong bc it is 90% of the time a 4 mana 4/5 rush, deal 10dmg. But the nerf to Dr. Boom and brawl could be enought.

And if they touch warrior they should also target mage- Luna PG is too strong when you play it on 5 an CC is just plain stupid. It s so stupid that since ROS I haven t played a single game w mage- only in arena. Just a braindead deck.

posted a message on Make adventures great again

Hey folks, wanted to ask uf there is by any chance Blizz would bring back at least one Adventure per year. I personally would really love it because:

    1) Offers a bit of a bigger chance for F2P to have fun with whacky decks because you re garaunteed the cards unlike with expansions

    2) Maybe blizz would profit more from it: I never bought any expansion preorder simply bc I would have to spend 130$ for 130 packs even though you have to open on average 240ish packs to get the full collection. However I would more than likely spend 20-30$ (hell even 40 of that was the case) for the adventure to get the cards and save gold for the other expansion-> thus not playing arena only for the first month od the expansion just bc I don t want to craft shitty cards with the small amount of dust I collect by playing and carefully dusting/crafting (I finish R5 every month to get the golden epic and never miss a daily quest so I m not a omce in a week login guy). I also think a lot more people would play constructed.

    3) Make the cards more unique!!! I like the theme for thist year- Villans fighting the league od explorers and then maybe teaming up to defeat a bigger enemy?? Cool, but a lot of those cards are just reprinted mechanics or pack fillers. Like the 10 mana 10/10 taunt guy- like wtf the only time that card sees play is off of CC or evolve. Even for arena I doubt the playability. Or a 5 mana 8/8 with a drawback (like we ve never seen that right?) On the other hand Zephrys is just plain AWSOME! The time they put in it to work is just wonderful but the rest is just old cards that were just dusted off and given a different name. I would really love if the smaller card pool that would be if we had 1 (or 2) adventures each year would give the developers more time to focus on unique mechanics and more diverse cards.

That s just my two cents and I would love to hear yours! Cheeres and happy ladder climbing

posted a message on Why is experimenting downplayed so much nowadays?

You should try out Elder scrolls legends- few people play it and therefore you can build a really whacky and fun deck and win! when I m sick of HS s meta I just switch to it for a couple of days- play some cool midrange dragon version of tri color decks and have a blast

posted a message on New Hunter Card - Hyena Alpha

The insanity un this card lies in Rat trap. If you play Rat trap your opponent will try to test other secrets first by making somewhat suboptimal plays. Afrer you test everything except the rat trap he then is in a pickle since he has to decide- do I want to pop it and face a 6/6 or not pop it and try to deal with the 4 mana 7/7- which is across more bodies which is sometimes better/ sometimes worse...

posted a message on ROS success (?)

Hey there, wanted to ask you on your opinion abut the meta that ROS and boomsday buff introduced, since we are just two weeks away from a meta shake up. From my perspective it was reeeally good except for warrior (Dr. Boom hero card is busted) and Mage with giant shenanigans. Every class had SOME spot i the meta: hunter having the never dying midrange strategy and mech hunter, token druid is strong, warlock has Zoo (again), paladin has an OTK and a mech deck, shaman with aggro and murlocs (control is somewhat good), tempo rogue is really strong even after the nerfs (pogo made an apperarance) and priest kinda suckes but nomi priest is at least decent.

All in all, all classes were represented in the meta and I was really enjoying the game except for T7 Dr. Boom which is like almost insta win with the tank up HP, and the T5 mountain giant coin conjurers calling which put 16/16 worth of stats on the board...

Do you feel the same or is it just me? Cheers and a happy weekend to all of you!
