Hey I'm not familiar at all with rogue, but why do you think Loatheb and Gallywix fit on this type of deck? I was under the impression that cards like these (and Troogzor) work better on midrange deck that run a lot minions so that they can solidify your position and punish the opponent for not developing his board.
Just a bad player trying to learn, thanks for any insight.
I'd also like to add that I hate you now. I crafted my Bloodmage Thalnos yesterday after running forever with the Kobold Geomancer and after testing Wild Pyromancer I must agree that it's a lot better =(.
Again, I can't thank you enough for actually taking the time to respond to these random posters. But I still have a couple doubts.
All the scenarios you posted are the average or favored matchups for Shaman, and not surprisingly they're the ones we are pretty free to grab the board. However, around ranks 4-6 there's a lot of aggro and not only from Zoo but also mages, Pallys,Face Hunters and even occasional Warriors. If they know how to actually fight Shaman, Flametongue can be a dead card in your hand for quite a while. Argent Squire can also theoretically let you coin Feral Spirit if no better play is avaiable.
Thanks for the fast answer, you make some really good points.
I also don't like Argent Squires, thought about removing them but can't decide on a reasonable alternative. Your success up to legend with only turn 2 totems is quite interesting.

Don't you feel like the lack of 2 drops or Argent Squires for some early board presence hurt you vs agressive decks that can control your hero power?
