    How is killing an ENTIRE combo-deck good? It never is, specially not when it wasn´t dominating everything everywhere. now this is just another common card that summons a token, BOOOOOORING.

    While I love Wild myself, that only goes you want to rank high up, you can always play just for fun (unlike in games like Shadowverse). Also this will be the best time of the year to play Standard diversity-wise because it has the most cards available (core+6 expas). In May you´re going to be limited to 4 expas again.

    With Overkill minions this can be insane. It could also be used on an Egg to let it take down small minions or simply giving it the chance to the egg to sac himself once you already abused its DR.

     

    It´s Rush on a recently played minion, atk on 0-atk minions, windfury on minions that already attacked, and, maybe the hidden effect: hit Stealth minions (which may matter if those Spirits get abused).

    Treant druid won´t happen outside of meme decks and low ranking until rotation, and it needs more support card. This helps, but isn´t enough when you compare it to the current meta druid decks.

    Arguably worse than Wingblast since Mage has so many single-target dmg tools already (and HP ping). Elemental Mage is a crowded deck already, I don´t think this can fit in, or at least not two copies, MAYBE just one... and it´s easy to remove later on, since it´s not something vital for the deck.

    You need to build around this, of course, which means avoiding too many spells that can backfire (like single-target dmg ones that aren´t fixed to an enemy... sounds bad for Flanking Strike since it can hit your minions). Of coruse nice with secrets, the Huffer spell, etc Solid for spell hunter? Maybe, but Rexxar is much better even for spell hunter as a minion-generator and when he rotates out, a lot of importat Hunter spells also do. Still voted "meta-defining" since any good spell the Hunter might get in the next 4 expansions can synergize with it in Standard (and it can be crazy in Wild, as any "do tons of stuff" cards).

     

    Got the neft bat on the HP tho, it´s much worse HP than Guldan´s. This should cost less or the HP should AT LEAST do 3 dmg.

    This is a solid secret that is way better than Effigy since you know what you´ll get out of it so you can build/play with it instead of just praying to the RNG gods you get that one rare minion with the same mana cost that is actually better than what you had, instead of the gazillion minions that are way worse.

    Remember Allie´s reveal of that epic turtle guy yesterday? I doubt Mage wants that card in any deck, but that+this = whatever important minion you want to protect is pretty safe, and depending on position you could even up with both copies alive when your turn comes again.

    Also previous dungeon run hasn´t been updated with new cards, so this one won´t gain anyting new when next expansion hits.

    You can still go smash Lich Kings and all the old  adventures with your new shiny cards tho. It´s just these new draft modes have set cards, and that´s it, never updated it seems. Sad, I wanted to try Shudder in a Battlecries x2 shammy in the previous dungeon run...

    posted a message on The Monster Hunt Solo Adventure is Now Live!

    First 5-6 bosses are easy, until you get to bosses with way too broken cards/combos (-3 cost to all cards in hand, fill board with gnomes, etc), and even if you miraculously manage to have the solution at hand, you just left the board empty surviving, and they do it all over again, and it´s GG. You can´t come back 2-3 times because no pack offers aoe spells... And rarely spells for that matters. It´s mostly just minions and minions and more minions that rarely affect the board when played. Feels easy early on because you have a bunch of win-more stuff, but it becomes absurd at the last boss or previous-to-last when you have absolutely no solutions in your deck, because you were NEVER offered one to begin with.

     

    It is fun to try tho, some cards are very unique, some fights very interesting, but I feel like the Hero Power buffs are almost mandatory.

     

    PD: does Cannon guy has any way to get more cannons? Most cards talk about those in plural but you only have one.

    posted a message on Share Your Witchwood Pack Opening Screenshots & Results!

    83 packs openened. Got:

    4 legendaries (Baku, Shaw, Shudder, Tess; can´t complain here I wanted almost all of these)

    16 epics (11 cards, 4 second copies, one a 3rd copy)

    15 golden cards (7 rares, 8 commons)

     Freebie was Godfrey.

    So many 4 whites + 1 blue packs is sad when there´s a lot of epics and legendaries, and three freaking expansions a year with a ton of crap filler cards... When you think about it, it´s kind of sad to be happy about one legendary every 21 packs... Specially when there´s over 20 legendaries per expansion. I miss Adventures. Next year´s rotation the amount of cards going away will be larger than ever (it will thankfully cap then, unless they start releasing 4 expas per year, lol)
