I really don't understand the lack of foresight in this one... I mean Conjurer's should have gotten a nerf, mage is now about to go nuts on latter, I mean warrior is relatively unharmed, but mage beats it and now there is no rogue to check mage, bad call Blizzard.

Nice, nice. My luck is the opposite. 3 times I've crafted legendaries only to open them the next day. Send some of those good vibes my way there's still a few I need.

Yup, sounds more like my luck... I crafted leeroy about a month ago... opened 2 leeroys since then... FeelsBadMan

Speaking for myself, I have been a bit burnt out and haven't been playing basically at all for the past two months. This is why I think Ben was wrong in saying the game doesn't need new classes. Maybe not new classes, but it needs something new and major to spice things up.

Now with that out of the way, I think this thread is moronic based on the fact that you came to the conclusion with a sample size of you and your 10 friends.

I felt these way a few months ago... didn't play for like 3 or 4 months even, but I feel they just gave us a major restructure in standard/wild division to spice it up... personally I'm loving it atm, just what it needed, brought me back... I think HS is at its highest point to date right now... just my 2 pennies

posted a message on New Ladder System

Just allow win streak stars until final boss will help the grind alot since 5 to legend is the worst part by far... and if the control deck players are determined that their control decks are winning at higher % but aggro get a in more games then the streak stars factor in them the bonus they wanted to balance it

posted a message on New "Constructed" Arena Mode

I enjoy the ladder, but HS could really use an alternate constructed venue. It's well known that ladder can favor aggro strategies simply because they play faster games, thus more games in a given period of time. This means that on ladder an aggro deck with a lesser win percentage could actually ladder better than a better deck from a win percentage standpoint. I don't necessarily always like this concept or feel that it is healthy for the game and organized tournaments aren't too realistic for me in my family/work situation and I feel this is the same for a huge amount of HS players. HS could really benefit from a new constructed venue, one that values a decks for its actual strategy to purely win and doesn't favor quick games.

I know this is not revealing anything new and I'm not just ranting here, but I have a thought that I think would be cool to implement: A "constructed" arena mode.

It could be simple really, select the arena button, then it asks if you want to play constructed or limited (to borrow mtg language). If you select limited you proceed to pay 1.99 or 150g and play the same arena we've all known and enjoyed for years now. But, if you choose you can select constructed wherein you pay the same 1.99 or 150g (Blizzard would like this I'd imagine) and instead of "drafting" a deck you just simply choose a constructed deck and play against other player's arena constructed decks. You get locked into that arena run with that exact deck (no changes) until the run ends using the same MM and play til 12 wins or 3 losses and receive the same prize awards/keys for how well you do.

IDK, I feel this would work and would give that sort of tournament feel that rewards us for trying to read the meta and create a a deck that wins more regardless of its pure aggression. Would love to hear your thoughts on this...

Not where I expected you to go with it, but it's a cool idea.  I was thinking/hoping you'd say something like get a random pile of anywhere from 60 to 200 cards to construct an arena deck from.

I really like this idea. Give us 100 (or so) random cards (after the choice of hero) and we construct a deck out of it.
Ya, so more of a sealed deck limited rather than a draft (again to borrow mtg language). Could be a fun option too, but not what I personally desire...
