It’s a fun and really strong deck. I crafted it and haven’t looked back. I run the bomb heavy variant (though without Flark :( ), and hitting rank 5 was a breeze. All the while having a blast - no pun intended.
The magnetic keyword in general is really interesting, and can give the deck a lot of flexibility
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think netdecks belong ANYWHERE. Ranked or Casual. The fun in card games is putting together your own decks and coming up with formulas, and MAYBE sharing them with a few people, friends and such. But I HATE getting thwomped over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over by the SAME EXACT DECK.
Now, that being said, if people legitimately figured out meta decks based off of other peoples decks, I'd be fine with that. But I know that these people aren't homebrewing their decks, they're going to sites like this one and such and searching for "TOP 500 LEGEND SPITEFUL PRIEST 99% WIN RATE" decks instead of developing their own strategy.
And I'm not accusing everyone of netdecking, but people who do are netdecking aren't playing the game. They don't take time to learn how to build decks, they just copy someone else's formula. Where's the fun in that? I mean, I get the satisfaction of winning over and over again, but wouldn't the satisfaction be better if you won with your OWN deck?
tl;dr I hate netdecking, and people who netdeck aren't playing the game how it should be played.
*Yes, this is partially salt over Cubelock/Spiteful priest, but it's also a gripe I have with many games where people can just copy a boring meta that is unbeatable.
But people play the game for different reasons, so when you say they don’t play the game the way it was meant to be played, that’s incredibly subjective.
I don’t play this game to theorycraft and brew decks. One of my main goals is playing as a collector. I love busting packs and trying to increase my collection. I don’t care to waste time trying to craft a deck that can help me collect cards, that’s not what is fun to me. So I’m perfectly happy picking up any deck from here that looks like fun to play.
Prior to this, my goals I have done were: 500 wins with every class, legend with every class and 12 wins arena with every class. Here also I was fine netdecking for some decks I’d have fun playing on this journey. I had no interest in spending time that I don’t have coming up with a deck myself to make that happen.
Furthermore, it’s human nature to leverage the experience and knowledge of others to reach your own goals.
None of the years have had any more than maybe 2 minions in the first expansion that are the theme animal.
There's only one bland Mammoth in the game from Un'goro and there was one crow (not even a raven) in the witchwood.
Tldr: you're a whinging idiot who got his hopes up. Now you're acting like a spoiled baby
Year of the Mamooth's theme was Primordial's, and Primordial Tribes. Mammoth icon was representing prehistoric creatures.
There was Tortollans, Dinosaurs, Mammoths, Prehistoric beasts, Lizards, Elementals etc.
Year of the Kraken, in the other hand; Kraken was representing old gods. There were "all" of the old gods.
Year of the Raven was well-themed too , It was themed around monster hunt. Raven was representing "scouting" for Monster hunt, more like Witch Hunt.
Come to Year of the Dragon now. They themed it as "Villains engage Dalaran". Lackeys are here, Villains are here. Dalaran Defenders are here but Dragons, Dragon-related stuff isn't here.
C'mon, don't fool yourself. Learn some symbolism, please.
Well, dragons are magical creatures with great power. We're getting Archmages, wizards, arcane crafters and even dragons. The villains are also pretty powerful themselves.
What about no? 1 interaction with certain secret is not enough to change ANYTHING, by any means, lol.
While I may not agree with the OP, this comment is just inflammatory, ignorant, and really makes no sense.
Of course 1 wrongful interaction is enough to change the behavior of a card, Blizzard makes these tweaks and fixes on a regular basis. Voidcaller is an example. His interaction with “certain demon” made it so that he could not pull it. It is 1 interaction, but clearly it warrants a change.
All that being said, it comes down to whether it is actually a wrong interaction. As such, you may consider magnetic as a battlecry in terms of execution order. It will trigger before secrets, and in this case, the minion put into play is gone, and the secret can’t interact with it. Personally, I think it is okay how it is, but I can understand the confusion.
Close to $2000 over the past 4 years (started just before TGT release); works out to be a dollar a day. No biggie, I'm having fun.
I don’t disagree with your conclusion, but where the hell do you live? Not familiar with a calendar with 500 days per year
So was $1.37 really worth nitpicking?
37% off is quite considerable I’d say.... That being said, the question was not sarcastic, there are several calendars out there with wildly different days in a year.
what i really want to make clear here, you don't need to buy any packs with real money. it's completely unnecessary, i rarely even play the game at all anymore. maybe earn 80 gold a day maximum and when i look at my collection - the card amount is the same or even more than from the expansion i bought money packs from. the only difference is + 3 to 5 legendaries more and a couple more epics. cards that don't see play regardless.
please just stop wasting your money on cards that have 0 real world value, just glorified pixels. thanks!
When I studied I was 100% free to play. Now some years later, I’m doing well for myself, and I want to give back to the game that I have enjoyed for so long. Pixels or physical objects, it doesn’t matter. Someone is providing goods/service, and I wish to support that product. Really is as simple as that.
Therefore, I have started getting welcome packs and the odd drop here and there. I do agree that you can free to play and do well, my first couple of legend runs were in my F2P days.
Meh... I control my emotions more than they control me. I think with my brain, not with my heart. Most people are so driven by sensations and emotions... They must suffer a lot and that puts a smile on my face. :)
That must have been hard to write.
from your previous posts on here, you are one of the most emotional players active on this forum ;)
To the OP though. Not sure what advice to give, other than if you are prone to tilts, take short breaks.
Can anyone verify if all numbers are improved or just a number of Imps? If the latter, well, snap, that's one terrible card. If the former, I can see someone play this, at least.
So you really think “someone” would play a 3-mana summon 5 * 5/5s? You think?

Don’t use his own logic against him, it’s uncool!

Thanks. Saved me a post

Exactly how do you calculate any sort of “probability and statistics” based on some confirmation biased post with no actual figures? ;)

Gotta love the tinfoil hat movement

Once I temporarily crafted all legendaries as golden (and immediately dusted for same value), just to see how they looked.
Made a missclick out of frame when I crafted golden Boogeymonster - no revert possible.
He still sits in my collection to this day ;)
