I like the direction the game is going but do you think the whole Cthun theme has gone extreme? Support is one thing but it seems too saturated for me. Hoping emphasis on one card doesn't happen too much on later expansions. Still going to make that Cthun Priest :P i haven't played Auchenai, Blademaster, and CoH in a long time gonna be fun.
I wouldn't even bm back. It's a waste of time TBH. Just play some music on the side or watch a video. They'll keep spamming but you'll be listening to Teenagers by MCR
Thanks for the input guys lol, I guess I'll wait bc dust is hard to come by when you only play during quest time. Jaraxxus is just so tempting look at that bod
Not a new player but I've never pulled a Jaraxxus. I've gotten Neutrals and other classes except for Jaraxxus. I'm at 3k dust but we're so close to WOG. It's just greed at this point but It's Jaraxxus :(
I can't use my coins too bc WOG is starting to look good with more cards coming. Save and Rely on free tavern brawl packs or Just craft Jaraxxus? I main Control/Dragon Priest, Control Warrior and Reno/Handlock if that helps
Wow, I'm probably going to craft this. I can see this working in basically every class, although Preist will obviously benefit the most. Maybe cards like Chromaggus could see play in Dragon Priest now.
You don't see Chromaggus in Dragon Priest? What dragon priest are you playing against lol. I've been using Chromaggus ever since. It's the 8 drop in the deck if you already have other dragons in hand follow up ysera and its GG
Personally i find the card too slow and the combo with PWS too gimmicky so i don't run it.
I play it for the stats TBH, I most likely will not get the draws unless I still have a power word shield. 6/8 doesn't get hit by BGH and opp needs some hard removal. Don't care if it gets silenced either, Ysera incoming

I'd like to point out that I never said GvG is the best they'll ever release. I compared WOG to TGT, where all the promotion and fanfare brought the hype up but eventually people felt that preordering was a bad idea. Though I'll give it to TGT, they had very interesting concepts such as inspire/joust and hopefully now they'll appear much more in Standard. That Kibler deck is annoying to deal with but I applaud it.
About Mysterious Challenger, I've never understood the reasoning behind 6 6/6 with a great effect that's not a legend. Ram Wrangler is a 5 3/3 that's conditional and nets you say less than 4 mana on average. Although I wouldn't be able to use BGH or SW:Death on it so I digress.
As a priest player, I guess I shouldn't feel disappointed? We have entomb and many basic cards that we can use like Mage and Druid(Druid Mains are so lucky with the format change lol). I'm excited to see more deck types. A viable control Hunter maybe, and Shaman getting back to midrange roots. Shaman was the first class I played and was dissapointed that we got so much aggro over time, I went to the Light. I guess it's time to dust off Shaman that's something to look forward to
I've saved 3k gold, am a bloody casual priest but I get to 5 for my epic every month, but none of the current cards appeal to me. It feels like another TGT. Promising but when they came out pretty meh. I'm liking the direction they're going, and many would disagree but RNG is fun for a serious-not so serious- game.
Im just disappointed that the hype for the old gods that I initially felt is gone. Corrupted characters are nice but I'd rather they add more characters from wow lore but I can't disagree that it doesn't thematically fit. Probably saving my coins for an adventure at this rate
But doesn't Kel Thuzad summon Anub at the end of the turn when he dies? Have never done it but I've used that shaman spell to destroy my sylvanas and get another. Thank Cthun this game doesn't use an actual graveyard like in Yug or Magic
I just played Heig and spammed with Reincarnation and Kels Hero Power. I didn't summon anything else. Kels power is too strong lol
Only against poor opponents.
Better Raf players will counter this by mulliganing hard for transform effects, filling your graveyard with garbage & relegating Kel's hero power to the same sort of rng lottery as Raf's.
Once Kel's graveyard becomes polluted with bad cards, Raf gains the upper hand.
Though Kel can still win by flooding the board, if Raf doesn't draw into his board clears.
It's a good brawl, in that it separates poor & competent players, but once both players understand the optimal strategy, it's just an RNG-fest.
I can agree with that, it's like Face Hunter/Tempo Mage vs Handlock, Kel is much more aggressive and puts on pressure but Raf controls and those board clears are indeed scary. Rag and Nef all over again. Now I wish we have a tavern brawl where we can play as any of the bosses. I love these pre made deck games :)
When playing Raf you really have to time the board clear right. When the timing is just right, no reincarnations in place too. Then next turns about the entombs, trading with hero power legends rinse repeat. Most of my games were fatigue games. Blizzard couldn't give Raf an easier time lol

But Chromaggus is pretty much the 8 drop in dragon priest lol. I've been using him ever since he came out

I'm not complaining about the RNG lol I said it was fun if you actually read my comment I said Many would disagree but RNG is fun.
My prob is that the initial hype has died down and let to disappointment. Why is it straight to salt? This forum sigh

I don't think it gives draw, 2 drop minion version doesn't give it even at 10 lol
