Chill, they even provided a link explaining why. But I'll save you the trouble: basically if you are dead set on crafting a particular golden legendary it's more efficient to craft it before opening packs. This way you don't risk opening a non-golden one before you craft it, which then would only be worth 400 dust.
I hear what youre saying, but advice like how they presented it has a higher chance of misguiding a new player than it does of helping someone who has been playing for a while. As Lyathon and I said, this is only beneficial to those who drop a ton of money. And people who do that dont really care about advice on pack/card economics because they are willing to buy everything
"craft any golden legendaries you really want"?! that is terrible advice! Unless you are someone who spends a ton of money on expansions, spending 3200 dust on a card before you even know if its good is just not good advice
Umm would it even be that strong in standard right now, like what do you kill? Cube lock is safe, jades are gone, late game control decks aren't around really.. so sure why not? Maybe settle for 4 mana instead though.
why are you are only comparing it to the meta right now?... Old BGH undermined the entire allure of minion stats, where a minion was bad if it was too strong. And everyone ran him so it was lame

Are you one of those guys who puts this on EVERY non battlecry minion at EVERY reveal season ?

Geist won’t work on cost reductions. This has already been proven with card like farsight
