Hearthpwn

This deck has made a huge return in Wild. Every time, I get to Diamond 10, I start encountering it. There’s a one cost card now, I can’t remember the name, which turns into the deathrattle weapon equipped, so that combined with death rattle triggers twice at end of turn spell and bomb dealing four damage, rogue can easily get 30 points on turn four. I always play Mage and only once was I able to foil this deck. It moves up the ranks fast, so I think the people who haven’t seen are still in the lower ranks. I find my biggest gripe with Hearthstone now is that there are so many trick decks built around the same small number of cards that take you out in one turn. I’d actually prefer it if the new cards weren’t available in Wild until some time had passed simply because with their release rate, the cards have to get more and more extreme and I’d just like to play for a bit before someone figures out how to make a trick deck combining old and the newest cards. It gets to be if you can’t beat them, join them mentality, but there’s not a lot of skill to incapacitating your opponent with endless deathrattles or fatigue.

Easily taken out with destroy your opponents weapon cards. It’s actually a weak card for a mage because if the weapon gets destroyed, mage class doesn’t have weapons to replace it with such as warrior or rogue. 

I just lost three games in a row to Zephrys the Great. It rarely misses when a kill card is needed. It’s dependent on how much mana you have left. If you have more than eight mana, you will always get twisting nether. Have a lot of minions but not enough points to win? Play Zephrys with four or five mana remaining and you will always get “give your minions three plus attack.” It also routinely draws destroy all enemy secrets when I’m playing Ice Block. However, if you play it because you don’t have any other cards to play and nothing on the board, the draws are meh but most players save it til it actually will give the perfect card.
