Mortals!
I am really looking forward to this! Shadowlands might have had a shitty story but the zones themselves were beautiful and there are some minor things like Sire Denathrius that were absolute wins for the expansion.
Despite the trailer just showing Revendreth, I am hoping for an all Shadowlands expansion for Hearthstone with probably Castle Nathria being the mini set. This would fit the whole Shadowlands 9.0 World of Warcraft Patch.
Looking forward to cool (hopefully but unlikely) free or earnable Skins like Kyrian Uther, Venthyr Kael'thas, Mawsworn Sylvanas, Night Fae Ysera, 35 Anima Blob Arthas (ok joke) etc. It would also be cool being able to choose one of the four Covenants which give access to unique card designs and stuff.

FortyDust posted a message on Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells is This Week's Tavern BrawlPosted in: NewsI'm sure they don't just *think* people like something. They know exactly how many people play each brawl. If they are basing it on popularity (and no one said they are), then the random ones must be more popular than you think. I know free players like the ones that do not require you to build a deck, for obvious reasons.
Your personal distaste for something is not indicative of the preferences of other gamers.

Technically all you have to do is fly high enough into space towards the sun that you escape the earth's gravity, and the world will literally revolve around you.

Game mode: Not even out yet.
The shop: Contains 3 different bundles for it, totalling well over 100$.
I miss the time when Blizzard's first thought was making cool content instead of finding every single way they can squeeze money from their playerbase.

This is some really cool stuff.. Some really awesome minions, and overall the scope of this patch should really help change Battlegrounds. I only have one issue with it...
The art on most of these minions is TERRIBLE. I know that that's a very subjective matter, and you're free to disagree, but to me, many of these minions look very subpar compared to most minions in the game right now. They're messy, the colours are poorly chosen, and the illustrations themselves look like Blizzard was put on a very strict budget and could only afford artists that charge 1/10th of what they normally pay for card art.
Is it just me?

That would make the quest dumb, pointless, and incredibly weak.
I'm all for nerfing Quest Warlock a bit, it's not a healthy deck, but this isn't the way to do it.

I imagine the patch also fixes that issue, it's basically the same error, a minion "losing divine shield" by being removed from the board by something other than a source of damage.

I only got 6 this time personally, probably the worst luck I've had with an expansion so far. I still have like 8k gold saved up though, and with the free legendaries (4 from the pre-orders and 4 from the rewards track) it should still be enough to get just about everything I need.

It's almost as if different people enjoy different things in Tavern Brawls, making it a good thing that we have different types of Brawls?
Personally I enjoy the Tavern Brawls where I get to construct my decks, because it's like an "alternate reality" in which Hearthstone has different rules in constructed. So I get to come up with creative new decks and try unique synergies, etc. And no, I don't get that from constructed. Creativity in constructed is a thing for the first 2 weeks or whatever, for the rest of an an expansion the metagame is already figured out so you either just play what everyone else is playing and get progressively more bored week after week, or you play your own wonky decks and just... lose a lot.

Amazing Druid deck, when did they add the ability to only play 25 cards in your deck though? Also confused why it's called "Quest Druid" since there's no quest in it...

No, but typically with things like these employees are instructed by the higher-ups to operate under full media silence until they prepare a line of defence with their lawyers, to make sure no information they don't want to disclose gets out. This is a lawsuit after all.
2
It's common practice for any company involved in a scandal to cease all public communication, partly because they have to coordinate things with their lawyers, and partly just to avoid backlash from the public (which always happens when Blizzard fucks something up, which has happened way too often recently).
As for whether or not Blizzard is "innocent", I doubt they are, but at the same time I prefer to just wait for the outcome of the lawsuit instead of automatically assuming the worst.
