posted a message on What is the best designed 5-mana neutral? (preliminaries)
    Quote from DiamondDM13 >>

How is Piloted Shredder voted for 4 Mana? It's one of the worst designed cards in the game, a card that should never see competitive play due to it's random nature, but way too powerful that was better than basically every other 4 drop, so it was isuper competitive, it's a card that shows one of the fundamental problems in Hearthstone, how random cards are so well costed that they are play in place of none random cards.

As for 5 Mana card, Azure Drake, Loatheb, Elise, Belcher, yeah they are the best but also 5 Mana cards are the problem in itself, the majority always sucked...

Edit: I just looked again, Barnes was also selected? Jesus... Another terrible design that can highroll like crazy and win you the game right away...

I still don't understand people who play this game yet hate the concept of RNG being a mechanic. Hell, I play this game almost solely because I love the feeling of gambling for a high roll and risk paying off. I understand people not liking that, believe me, but I don't understand why they continue to play this game in that case since it's so heavily based around it (Now more than ever).

posted a message on What are the odds that Quest Rogue is nerfed?

There's practically no chance it's going to get nerfed this expansion. The deck may SEEM strong if you get stomped once or twice by a particularly lucky draw, but with how inconsistent it can be and how royally it gets destroyed by a lot of the current meta, it's just not a particularly strong or reliable deck, and definitely not strong enough for Blizzard to considering changing, especially with how strongly they feel about making changes to existing cards.

There's always a chance that something will happen in the next few sets that causes it to have a spike in consistency or overall power level, and in that case there's a chance it or the cards around it receive some changes.

Either way, crafting it is safe, it *is* a fun deck to play and you definitely can climb with it with a little luck. And even if it did get nerfed, you would get your dust refund anyways, so it's overall worth it if it's something you want to try and you can afford it.

posted a message on Questscards: would you like new quests in the future?
    Quote from Fenixdown >>

    - The next set will be an adventure, which will likely be based off of some raid or dungeon. This leaves no logical room for quest cards, as that would eat into an already small card pool. As far as class questing goes, your only likely option for a dungeon or raid area that had class quest ties is Dire Maul. Personally, this would make for a great expansion in my opinion (demons, ogres, and elves...what's not to love?), but as previously stated, would eat 9 card slots out of a small card pool.

Someone didn't get the memo that Blizzard are not making any more adventures. xD

posted a message on Is Taunt Warrior good without the Quest?

Fire Plume's Heart is the deck's ultimate win condition, without the quest, there are far better ways to build the deck to be much more consistent and more reliable to win with than just removing the quest, which leaves you with a lot of bloat.

Almost all brawls are Wild format :P

Heroic Brawls up til this point are one of the rare exceptions.

posted a message on Chittering Tunneler should be a Hunter Card?

A huge problem with Warlock design philosophy is that Blizzard seems to focus entirely on making their cards thematic to the classic "Warlock" theme. That's exactly why we see cards like Chittering Tunneler, which is a card that any other class would likely have, only they would get it *without* the drawback, most likely.  Warlock getting major drawbacks purely to match flavour is a problem they've always had.

posted a message on New Legendary Card - Elise the Trailblazer
    Quote from Neolardo >>

This card is absolutely amazing. One of the strongest in set imo. I have played control mirror MUs where I opened 3 packs thanks to the godlike Shadow Visions, the value is simply insane in long games. It is also a great deal of fun to play random legendaries from other classes while still keeping your deck intact. 11/10 can't recommend enough.

Indeed, this card is simply insanely good in Priest at the moment, and can really increase the longevity of other decks with a seriously meaty piece of hand refill.
