I also made the modification to the deck, and came out with:
+ 2 Mass Dispell vs. 2 Silence (awesome on the Turn he drops his taunts to finish it)
+2 Earthen Ring Farseer vs. 2 Nerub'ar Weblords - excellent board control early game, before you pull off your combo/lightwarden
+2 Lightwardens vs. 2 Demolishers (Use your Power Word Shield on them, to protect them from getting killed by Abominations)
+2 Holy Fire vs. 2 Stoneskin Gargoyles, for excellent burst damage to finish KT off, or to kill an Abom, without destroying your minions.
Won on my second attempt with this version, after failing for 2 days and 30+ attempts with the original and other variations.
My final winning board was an incredible Lightwarden at 19 attack 4 health. A buffed up 5/5 Lightwell. An Earthen Ring Farseer, a Mogu'shan Warden (7/7) and a Mind Blast for the last burst. Never ever drew the Divine Spirits, and made do with just the 2 Inner Fires, and the Lightwarden plus PW:S. Don't aim for the ultimate perfect combo, just try to have a generally solid board. Try to destroy his armor by Turn 7, with Mass Dispel in hand so you can keep chugging right through his health and ignore the taunters (don't try to kill 'em). That way you can avoid his Twisting Nether. Also, make sure your minions are all above 2 health by Turn 6 so he can't Blizzard you down. Smite comes in very handy early game, combined with Loot Hoarder to take down the 3/4 health mobs.
The feeling of beating KT after days and hours of effort is indescribable. This is kinda how I felt after all the trial and effort on a raid boss in WoW, finally mastering it! So happy now. Can finally go back to laddering! Duplicate Minion Mage FTW!

Mulligan for Mad Scientist and especially the bow. You don't need Unleash or Buzzard too early since he won't have many minions on the board until turn 8 or so. Keep playing traps and keep hitting his face with the bow and hero power. Don't bother clearing his minions with the bow. If you get lucky you can freezing trap big minions and two explosive traps in a row will kill almost every minion he drops. Watch out for killing the skeleton that destroys your weapon. Around turn 6 or 7 use a tracking for Leeroy and go face with him. Next turn unleash combo and you'll easily have 8+ damage on board from the doggies because of the Leeroy whelps. Save hunters marks and arcane shots for the Necroknights, he always plays minions on his right side.
Still a lot of RNG needs to go your way. He didn't Pure Cold me by turn 9. I did lose a 3 durability bow because of an unlucky misdirect killing the skeleton. I ended up killing him without using a kill command, didn't draw them yet. Concede early if you don't get a bow, not worth wasting your time.

Quick question. A couple weeks ago I log onto HS and am given 3 different daily quests but its only happened once. I'm wondering if I don't log on for 3 days will I get 3 daily quests when I log on? Also, I'm assuming that I can log on everyday for 3 days in a row just to stockpile the dailies and complete them all every third day?
