Damn seeing these cards made me pretty salty for a sec. I only play Classic these days. Seeing Standard become less rng and more skill based again kinda stings since I disenchanted all my standard cards.
What's this?

Oh Blizzard, never change your dumbass ways. Looks like I'll happily stick with Classic.
Are you trying to compare hearthstone to WoW? LOL. Bad as some people say it is (I disagree btw), World of Warcraft is still an actual game whereas Hearthstone (Ranked) feels more like a glorified mobile device slot machine ported to PC. If you want a competent time killer that rewards having a brain, play Classic Mode Hearthstone matches, if you want dynamic, strategy-based card game experience in which predicting the opponent's plays and forming good attack plans gives you the edge, then you're out of luck. But hey, at least Discover is a fun mechanic...ISN'T IT, NOW?!
The current meta made me quit Standard for Classic mode. It's really bad for me because random effects, random generation and discover effects are encouraged rather than risky. Currently, being a new meta, the pool of cards to draw from is also limited, but even so, current Hearthstone clearly suffers from power creep and no sense of balance or rewarding strategic play. I have been playing since Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.
This looks VERY promising and juicy. I especially like the description, highlighting potential plays and strategy. I also agree with you on one thing. Guff isn't needed for this.
Duplicate protection basically means when you open a pack, you can't find more than 2 copies of the same card IN THAT SINGLE PACK. From the wording and announcement, I also was under the impression that it will prevent duplicates all together, but no. In fact, you can get more of the same cards from future packs.
I didn't say it broke the meta. It wins enough to see enough play to cause a ton of feels-terrible game experience. It victimizes control decks. It loses to aggro and heavily disrupts control, thereby scewing the meta to some extent (even more) against control and towards aggro. It's a cancer. Like you.
Complaining about Tickatus is a total meme at this point. It's been proven that Tickatus doesn't break the meta. The winrate of that deck is good, but not game breaking. Stop posting trash
Because you can't read doesn't mean it's trash. He never said it was meta-breaking, he said "unfun". And he's right about its analysis : while it doesn't break the meta, it nerfs control and pushes aggro. I could add that you're trash, but that would be a meme at this point.
I just don't see the un-fun element you guys are talking about. I played quite a few matches against Tickatus as control Priest. Some of which I managed to win. I'd be happy to check to see if the add on saved the replays so I can share it. My games are somewhat low ladder (gold) but the point stands that Tickatus can be beat by other control decks. Technically it CAN be done. Galakrond and board removals come to mind as viable.

Yeah...wow is abyssmal, as opposed to Hearthstone which is where the real action is at. It's the future of gaming: the jpg collector slot machine.

No. Other non-Warlock control players don't share your views.

It actually looks pretty good. I'll try it on day 1. I think Rinling's Rifle isn't a must tho, especially if you're low on dust.

Some of us like our big, slow, chunky priests.

That doesn't mean they'll always be good either.

This card is not for Beast Druid. It's clearly made for Gibberling.

Kinda hard to pull off, as it requires you to draw, xanesh early for discount, then also get clown in hand and plague. Very unreliable.

Yeah....Shaman has been pretty bad lately, as we all know, right? If only the situation would EVOLVE more favorably for the poor Shamans...
