Abomination isn't an instant win. Certain conditions need to be met for it to work. The two games out of 8 I played where I did draw into abomination it served me no purpose and was easily killed off even if he had a blank field or a filled one. If the AI can kill it and kill you it will. If it can kill it and get you down to low health it will despite if it loses minions in the process. It's entirely luck of the draw on whether or not it has the conditions to kill you or not.

(1): Lost - he used Savage Roar with a full board that I wasn't able to clear due to poor start.
(2): Lost - he used Savage Roar again. I lived with 2 health and wiped his board. He swiped my face the following turn.
(3): Lost - had good opening board state until he used Savage Roar and dropped my health again.
(4): Lost - he buffed minions and took out my board state again after field flooding
(5): Lost - he had one minion with enough damage to kill that was stealthed. Did not draw a taunt minion.
(6): Lost - had abomination after I cleared his board. He can and WILL kill it if he has enough spell damage to do so and will do it before playing any minions. I brought him down to 17 health.
    (7): Lost - Savage Roar + Swipe
(8): Won - abomination died but I won because Sneed pulled Arch Mage.

Overall I'd say this deck works but it takes a lot of RNG work at the beginning for you to pull a victory less you be over run with his minions by turn 2 or 3. The trick with abomination never worked for me both times it showed up so I wouldn't count on it being a staple part of your deck at all. I would only use it if you need to clear the board - fast. Other than that - nicely made deck despite my luck with RNG.

(1): Lost - poor card draw at the beginning of the game, only spells after mulligan and continued to draw only spells.
(2): Won - gained board state early then popped down Deathlord and Kel'Thuzard and was able to keep up the pressure until they decked themselves and over card drew themselves to death.

I would definitely say it helps to have a good opening hand. If you don't have good cards by turn 3 or 4 then restart and try again. There does seem to be a mild bug with Deathlord in which the AI withholds minions attacking. This is not concrete as once it gained enough minions or had ones that it wanted to play from hand, it would attack Deathlord. Making sure your Deathlord has enough health to withstand these hits is key. Also playing Kel'Thuzard near minions that have little to no attack is crucial. The AI has Betrayal and it's not afraid to target your Kel'Thuzard. Do not attack with it unless you're capable of healing it out of lethal range from the minions next to it.

Excellent deck. Didn't have preparation but I subbed in other cards and it worked just fine. First try too.

Does not work. AI will attack Animated Armor just as it will also attack Kel'Thuzard with a taunt up. Either they've fixed this bug or it's completely random what the boss decides to do. Wouldn't recommend using this deck. I've played with this deck multiple times and each time I had my win conditions met there was always a way he'd destroy it. Don't waste your time.

Confirming what Praise_YoggSaron said. If you have a taunt on the field even if you have Kel'Thuzard the Boss will still kill the taunt and either go straight for face or if he has enough on the field he'll also take out Kel'Thuzard. Just happened to me. I had Deathlord out with increased health and Kel'Thuzard as well as several other small taunts. He took them all out with ease. Either they've fixed the priority or the people who won with this deck got incredibly lucky.
