only ever dusted nozdormu, can't see a situation where that would ever be useful aside from the occasional exploit that seems to crop up. Millhouse could be good in a "no spells" brawl I guess...

Ysera and Fodring would be my votes, I'd eliminate anything that's not in classic and those are the two I probably play the most. 

Most decks are fairly easy to learn, I'm not currently running aggro because I'm more of a fan of mid-range, but there's strategy to everything.

If it's a class I don't like to play I'll usually try to make an aggro deck if I'm forced into a quest, just to be done with it. I don't want to spend two hours playing 3-5 matches for a daily quest. I don't have the time, I'd imagine a lot of aggro players are time constrained.

I'd welcome playing a lot of face shaman at this point, at least they'd go fast. I'm facing nothing but control, "stall til I can play a massive C'thun", or "Golden Monkey so I can play a bunch of random legendaries" decks. It's ridiculous, half an hour to lose a game because golden monkey gave them amazing legendaries, or a half hour to win the same game because they got bad ones. Same thing with C'thun, absolutely every aspect of a game against the class could be similar to that of a pre-C'thun game....then a 20/20 that pings for 20 hits the board and completely negates any other aspect of the game.

Monkey, C'thun, and Yogg all remind me of druid combo, in that "counter play" = try your best to stay at max health while somehow controlling the board all game. It's too damn random. For all the people facing aggro all day....TRADE ME! First time in who knows how long I don't feel like doing dailies anymore because games are too freaking long.

Even watching twitch sucks, who the heck thinks that watching a game that starts with both players literally passing 7 times in a row and discarding the "least playable" cards so they don't overdraw is good game play???

C'thun decks are annoying imo, I still disagree with the whole idea of a universal legendary with 1/5 of an expansions cards dedicated to it  (or whatever that number is)

That said, plenty of non c'thun decks out there...honestly thought I'd hate this expansion and this is probably the most fun I've had. For the record I've made shaman, warrior, paladin, hunter decks so far, no c'thun and it was minimal effort to rank 7.

Similar to aggro dragon warrior, not sure if I like blood to ichor, and reach can be a problem, but overall I'm a big fan. 

Arena, rogue vs mage, long game, pretty much all board trading, I'm at 23, he's at 25. Have complete control, he has no cards, no board. I have a couple small creatures out.

Turn 1 - mage draws and plays recycled roaring torch + pings a creature to kill, I'm at 17 health

I attack and play another creature

Turn 2 - mage draws and plays _second_ recycled roaring torch + ping face, I'm at 10 health

I attack again, play another creature, easy lethal next turn!

TUrn 3 - mage draws and plays....pyroblast!!

Honestly not even that mad, still don't think it's quite registered.

4-1 in arena, my mage vs paladin, very close game, both top decking. (although I've usually got 2 cards in hand to his 1) I'm at 8 health, he's at 12, board is clear. He's down to the last card in his deck, and I've got 4-5 left.

I've got nothing in hand and his last card is fel reaver! I top deck spellslinger and get...Naturalize?! Went from gg to him out of cards and taking 2 card draw of mill damage. He didn't come back to his computer.

Best part? I lost the next game, to put me at 5-2, then proceeded to win my next 7 in a row. Went from a 4-3 deck to a 12-2 from that play.

I've only dusted one legendary that wasn't a dupe, Nozdormu. Aside from "creative use of game mechanics" which usually get fixed, I can't see ever using this.

(note: I would play nozdormu in every deck if he was just a stealthed 0/5 just to speed games up :D)

Valladine, your frustration is understandable. At rank 18-19 every deck is already a net deck, patron, dragon warrior, dragon priest, secret pally etc.

I will say however that it's completely possible to rank up anyways. I think the problem with new players is they try to take a subset of an expensive deck that's missing a lot of the more expensive, key cards, and of course it fails.

You can play a cheap deck, of which there are many, and they'll get you there eventually. I'd also recommend watching trump's stream on twitch. He's on a free to play priest deck, meaning no money spent, with just a bunch of basic cards and a handful he's opened from packs, and last I saw he was 13-14. He's playing cards in his deck like boulderfist ogre, stranglethorn tiger etc... It basically looks like a decent arena deck, and it's working just fine.

It seems the formula is more high value cards, mulliganing properly, and knowing how to play against each particular type of deck.

At pack 49 I was a little peeved, as I'd just opened 40 classic packs and only gotten 1 legendary, 3 in 90 didn't feel great.
