posted a message on Who disenchanted wild cards and why?Tell me below.

I'm f29, and I haven't disenchanted my wild cards. GvG and Naxx are a ton of fun and I would be bummed if I couldn't keep going back to them. Also wild cards are useful in brawls and new combos in wild. Not buying packs means getting a full collection is slower, but I think that waiting longer is worth keeping old cards.

Or change volazj to work a little more like varian Wynn: draw 3 cards put a 1/1 copy of any minions you draw onto the board.

    New legendary

2 mana 1/1, if you heal your hero and it's already at full health, increase its maximum health by that much (permanent effect).

2 mana 1/1, whenever you use your hero power draw a card (permanent effect).

4 mana 3/3, battle cry: double all friendly minions health.

4 mana 0/4, whenever you heal a character, deal that much damage to the enemy hero

posted a message on The Current State of Priest

i just want to hear about what people think of the condition priest is currently in, what they think needs to happen to it, what its major issues are right now, and maybe some examples of cards that could improve it.

i was really hoping something great would happen for priest with Karazhan, but I feel like the gap has only been widened between priest and the more competitive classes.

Priest is my favorite also. It's incredibly frustrating to see how little effort is being put into it and how comfortable devs are letting it continue to get worse and worse, giving the best cards to decks already notorious as the best (warrior and paladin, now shaman too), and perpetually giving crafting-fodder to priest.

I think something needs to happen to force the devs to see how unbalanced the class system is becoming, the more focused they are on improving only a few classes, the more monotonous and stale play becomes.

making terrible cards instead of good ones, so the same old cards, or handful of new ones, are always used, and meta gets stale because everyone ends up playing the same 3 or 4 decks.

there is no way of not making "bad" cards because there is a need to add cards just for the beginners, just for alternative formats and to fill the curve when drafting, (and of course, to make money, they're a bussiness and as much as I hate the idea of making bad filler cards for the sake of forcing people into buying extra packs to get the rarer ones, is something that the whole economical system promotes beyond card games so is not going to go away).
I see your point and I agree, I am fine with cards that are sort of boring but practical, but legendaries aren't supposed to suck, they should be valuable or at the least playable. volazj might as well never have been made. I agree that some degree of lackluster cards are necessary, but that should be contrasted with actually having good new cards as well.

the game is too simplistic and easy. sure i can play mtg all day and that's what i've been doing more and more recently resulting in the absolute bore fest that is hearthstone. i don't blame the playerbase though, it's blizzards own fault by design. the thing that you just earn something by winning, a lot just makes me scratch my head. it doesn't reward fun decks to be played around with whatsoever.

not putting in more complex mechanics (no counterplay, no graveyard mechanic etc.) pisses me off the most, the rest is fine-ish. it's becoming more and more childish too

Agreed, Hearthstone has a ton of potential to be creative and challenging like MTG, but devs take the easy route and make it too simple and boring.

Sure, it's a screw you to Frostwolf Grunt, but a fine card. I hope that they are saving the actually impressive cards for a later reveal. I haven't seen a Kel'Thuzad/Reno or even an Elise/Rafaam level quality card yet.

people needs to stop saying shaman was struggeling, it was just not noob friendly, this does not mean it was struggeling

Shaman could win, but almost everyone agreed it was the worst class. It was usable, but it was set apart as the worst class in the game with the worst card pool to draw from.

Right, I guess players too lazy/clueless to strategize will lose anyway... or get hired by blizzard to make new cards.

i think this card is bad and detrimental to meta/strategy, its lazy and overly-rng reliant. I will be pissed if i lose to some dumb-luck great legendaries gotten off this card. Wish the devs spent more time on strategy and less on disco puns.

I am very interested in hearing alternate points of view, maybe I am wrong.

This card is another one after Elise to make fatigue a competitive strategy, and try to survive all of opponent cards is very hard deckbuilding, a little RGN from the legendaries you get but anything than that is pure and hard strategy.
For me it is much more fun than this actual meta, even warrior is agressive, no strategy at all, go face, smorc.
Paladin, priest and other no warrior controls disappear...
I see your point, but i think that slowing down aggro/face would work better than introducing substantial elements of RNG and op single cards. I would prefer sturdier minions, better taunts, more healing for classes that don't already have it (looking at you paladin), and more spells and minions to combat being overwhelmed in the early game.
I think elise was much better because it recycled cards you couldn't use at the end of the game, whereas this card dilutes your synergy immediately and makes strategy less important upfront.

What am I missing here?  How exactly can this card just "win the game through rng"?  What, you get all 5 legendary cards that you were hoping for?  Why don't you just run those 5 legendary cards then?  That way you can get the 5 best legendary cards EVERY time.  And as an added bonus, you wouldn't have to have a vanilla 5 mana 5/6 in your deck!  How is that not a better situation?  Yeah, that new Hogger card isn't that bad if you end up having to play it...but you know what's better?  LOTS OF SHIT.  Seriously,  can someone explain how this card helps you besides protecting you from fatigue?

Say you Just played Sylvannus, then play this card, and get another sylvannus, and a Soggoth, and a deathwing dragonlord or whatever, and two shit-legendaries. You are objectively in an amazing place. Beyond the exact cards you would get out of this card, it just allows players to rely very heavily on RNG, instead of spending time picking 30 cards that work really well together. Its like how trash tv makes stupid viewers, trash cards make trash deck-builders and the meta suffers. I would personally prefer a card that promotes intent and strategy instead of hoping for favorable RNG. Yogg was fine, but this card crosses a line for me personally. I would rather it be: "discover a legendary minion and put it in your deck," or "have your opponent show you their hand, choose one card to steal," or "draw a random legendary from your deck."
