Ok so I've watched what I can find and read what I can find. I've seen heartharena but still I can't seem to break 3-3 in here.
I was hoping to find someone that could help me learn to play better in arena. I'm not looking for 12-0 or anything like that but if I can at least do better than 3-3 it would help.
Trump is not a high level player I don't think. He's just a good player who's entertaining to watch and explains his moves in detail, same as Kripp. Hafu is one the the best arena players i believe.
@Masirus, are you looking for 1 on 1 coaching over video call? You could contact ratsmah, he charges $80/hr but you're mostly paying because he's popular. You could get someone equally skilled for a lot cheaper.
@knechtbd, that is impressive arena average, do you record every game? Is your average usually that high or just a little lucky lately?
I enjoy playing constructed more than arena but you can check out my 12 win arena I talked play by play, I'll probably do more videos in the future:
I don't record my games. Part of that is because I have a 6 year old pc that was pretty weak even when it was new and I play a ton on my phone.
In terms of luck, I know I've had stretches like this before, but this is the longest I've had without a clunker. I feel like my biggest strength is in-game strategy, and heartharena helped with doing better with drafting.
One of the things that helped me a lot was watching ratsmah coaching people (it's all on yt)
There's something about the coaching format specifically that I feel was key. Just the fact that he's teaching someone who's most likely as bad as yourself means that they go through a lot of absolute basics/fundamentals. I mean like, the bits where the coachee goes thru explaining his way of thinking, and ratsmah points out which concepts exactly he's misunderstanding or is unaware of - I found those bits to be insanely useful, and lacking in 'normal' streams because good players don't think like bad players do. Even if a good player talks through all of his thinking process, and even if you understand it fully, chances are your own thinking process would still be wildly different right from the beginning in a similar situation, because you lack that piece that even sets the 'direction' of his thoughts in the first place. The presence of a bad player forces the good player to set this direction, and you learn from it, see what I mean?
I realize this sounds weak on paper, but it helped me go from being stuck at 2-4 wins to having an average of 5.5, and I got 12wins 6 times so far - these stats are from 60 runs in TGT. I too used to read tons of theory and watch/spectate a lot, but it's in those coaching vids that I felt that "oh, I get it now" feel. I didn't start winning 7 immediately, but my thought process changed drastically and I started to feel how my analysis is actually improving, and so are my results

While I appreciate the feedback, I did state that I've watched everything I can find which would include trump :)
I also started using heartharena a few weeks ago, here is a link to my account http://www.heartharena.com/profile/bearcat2010
My battle.net tag is Bearcat2010#1357
I don't mind helping you out with strategy.
Thanks Kne. I sent you a bnet request.

Yeah I'm definitely not paying 80$ an hour lol. I will check out your video though. Thanks.
feel free to add me, I usually get around 6-7 wins per arena
