Pit Lord is risky against mages I only end up playing him if I know I've got a combo to follow up with next turn because I dropped my hp to my molten giant drops. Also Harrison Jones is better in this deck over swamp ooze, yes they do they same thing but the presence of the 5/4 with possible card draw is more beneficial in this deck. I find that the first 4 turns I have no issue against any class even aggro decks with hellfire and shadowflame.
Also pit lord isn't used typically early game I use him knowing I can combo with molten giants and heal up with jaraxxus/alexstrazsa
I corrected the post. Also I've been thinking of swapping sen'jin sheildmasta out for twilight drakes. Reason I have been debating this is a 4/8 on the board is a large enough threat that they are forced to attack it or use some sort of removal on it. Its the same effect as taunt but with more defense in most cases.
This is the deck changes I've made so far to keep the early/mid game under control for the late game of this deck. Currently around 30-7 in ranked at rank 15 atm.
I understand for most people this deck isn't feasible for most people because of the high cost. But it works very well. You have the burst late game and all the control you need early/mid to actually use the late game cards.
Aishi I built this deck and I've had great success with it. So far since the patch I've only played this deck and my shaman control deck. My win/lose rate atm is around 25-6. This deck has great control with insane burst dmg late game.
