Pirate warrior potential ceiling is very low, decks pretty much figured out already while many others are far from refined and show way more promise.
Have had zero problems with pirate warrior so far, even when playing control. Very easy to predict and counter.
You can’t really just apply this statement just because other decks aren’t as refined. It’s still a very strong deck. It has early game tempo, value, and reach, virtually missing nothing that makes it weak.
My prediction about Nellie was 100% accurate, despite multiple people arguing “tHeRe aRe a lOt oF pIrAtEs, yOu wOnT gEt sMiTe tHaT oFtEn.”
Remove smite from the damn game. He is a cancer and goes against the anti charge philosophy.
I've been playing pirate warrior for some games, and out of 10 times I played Nellie, I got offered Smite exactly once.
Rogues playing shadowstep on their Smite are more annoying since there's no counter if you are out of taunts.
Then you are insanely unlucky. And the problem is, even IF you whiff smite, you get three 1 cost pirates that you can play with your own smite.
the point is, smite is a problem. They literally banned Reno and boar because they wanted less charge, and print one of the BEST charge cards in the games history within 6 months.
